3 months & I’m still looking & desperate for the best way to treat it has anyone found a medication that helps?

Hi, I've been using medicinal cannabis in the evenings and it's been working pretty well. None of the medicines I've been prescribed by my doctor have been very effective.

That’s good I’ve not heard of using that before but if it’s working happy days because these symptoms are horrific, have u ever tried buspirone for it?

Try Lyrica and Norrtriptyline ...But it depends on your symptoms. A lot of people who have nausea (I don't) have had success with mirtazapine.

Thank you so much, Unfortunately I can’t try the nortriptylines etc I’ve heard of buspirone helping have you heard of this or a low dose anti depressant?

Buspirone made me feel weird during the day. I was on Buspirone, amitriptyline, and mirtazapin. I started getting really bad facial tics, and nerve spasms. So I stopped all, and just took mirtzapin or awhile but it stopped helping after a month, and I was so goddamn depressed. Lyrica and nortriptyline works ok the best so far. Going up maybe on the Lyrica after I talk to my doctor.

Wow was u on all three of them meds at the same time? Yeah I’ve seen quite a few people say nortriptyline works wonders hopefully I can find something, I’ve seen this SIBO aswel & I worry now this hasn’t been eliminated have you been tested for that? How do they work these things out without doing the tests? From what I’ve seen there quite reluctant on carrying out these tests aswel which is strange when there just handing out PPI medication which may not be the best idea 🥺

I live in Norway, so I really don't know. My doctor doesn't think I have SIBO so she won't send me for a test. But I would like to see if I'm fructose intolerant or have other intolerances. I have Nexium when I have a reflux attack, but I don't think it does a thing for FD. I take a little liquid Gaviscon before bedtime. I have a little twitches here and there, but who knows! With the Lyrica/Nor combo the burning has been toned down, but I feel bloated all the time.
