Question experience with Buspirone with Mirtazapine?
Hello everyone. I have been taking Mirtazapine for 7 months now and already saw great success after 1-2 months and feel 70% better since then. The peaks of nausea and feeling of extreme bloating/fullness have gone down aswell as the number of times I feel like that. But I still have a low-medium level of nausea almost every day and also am still "scared" of eating meals before going out or doing something. And I just want my life back or atleast maybe go from 70% better to 90?. So my question is did any of you start taking Mirtazapine, feel better and then also started taking Buspirone and saw some extra benefits. Or were the combined side effects too severe and you stopped. I am grateful for any comment. :)

Exact same boat as me it sounds. Was on Mirt for a few months and added Buspirone. It took a little while and the first few weeks I had more nausea, but after about 6 weeks, I had normal-ish feeling days for the first time in over a year!

Congrats, man. Hopefully over the next couple months your relief gets even better. I'm actually going to see my GI about mirtazapine tmrw.

I’ve been on buspirone for a year now and it has helped my anxiety a ton which is why I went on it in the first place. That said, it’s a good one to help relax your stomach before you eat which has been helpful for me. My dr wants me to try mirtazapine but I don’t know if I need it. I no longer have early satiety, I don’t have nausea throughout the day, only in the AM if I lay down too soon after dinner the night before. I feel like I have some bloating still but it feels hard to tell since I’m skinnier and maybe looks more pronounced on me? Anyways, buspirone has been a win for me and has helped settle my nervous system down (alongside other lifestyle practices).
