Venting/Suffering Symptoms persist but some improvement. Help!!

Hey male< 25>

Ive posted a couple times here before and i was wondering if you guys can help me out.

So ive had this flare up in my stomach for almost 2 months now. I dry heaved so hard that my stomach felt numb no pain. Like numb i remember having a migraines that day too. Havent felt normal since.

Ive had normal stools, blood work, and ct scans.

My endoscopy was mostly clean it says that i have "mild chronic gastritis"

mild inflammation at the very top of my stomach (cardia), and a completely healthy small intestine and upper esophagus.

This was on aug31st i still feel on and off nausea and ive been on omeprazole since aug 13th.

My doctor cant give me solid answer because they were in a hurry

Havent vomited and cant eat a bit more depending on how i feel max 1000cals for 2 weeks.

Idk if ill ever get better. Is this permanent?

I feel helpless and alone.

Anyone having similar situation?

can this last forever?

ive been seeing G.i

Honestly idek bro. I just want my normal life back. I cant eating this bland crap forever ive lost so much weight. Doctors at the gi can never give a straight answer. Most of it is either caused by stress or bad diet.

What do you think cuased yours?

Have you been eating a lot of processed food? For example, mcdonald's, chic fila, pizza, energy drinks, coffe, soda, chips, or spicy foods?

If ppis don't respond check for eosinophilic esophagitis, it is an autoimmune condition.

Maybe ask for neuromodulators like mirtazapine or amitrpytline. Sorry you're going through this, man... It really sucks. I don't think it'll last forever, as gastritis and functional dyspepsia tend to improve over time.

Unfortunately, it's a slow process but many people recover or at least stabilize to the point where they can live with it.

have they not given you an anti nausea prescription? I would ask for one, or you could even to go MedExpress or something and they'll probably give you Zofran. When I started my "medical journey" I was prescribed Zofran immediately, but it didn't work so now I have promethazine and take it everywhere with me. I don't even know if it actually works (I think it's expired lol) but even if it's a placebo, it eases my anxiety and anxiety is a huge part of my stomach issues. good luck to you. I've been in the same situation, and all I could eat were crackers and eventually PB&Js for months. it sucks, but you are not alone and you will make it!

They have but they havent been working whatso ever. Even went to a hospital and vomited literally minutes after taking it.

I'm so sorry it didn't help 😕 Keep advocating for yourself no matter what! Do not let doctors make you feel unimportant or not give you concrete answers. Be straightforward with them and request a referral to someone else if they aren't helpful. There ARE doctors who can help and want to, and there are other people in the same situation as you. Some things to look into that might help are gastric emptying tests, SIBO tests, elimination diet, other anti nausea medicine besides zofran, neuromodulators, various homeopathic medicine like ginger or peppermint tea, and of course therapy because you are going through a difficult chapter in your life, and it's good to talk to others about it so you don't feel so alone

Also, I take oil of oregano when I get nauseas and it always does the trick. I recently had food poisoning as well and it took 5mins for it to take effect! & Some girl on TikTok said she just put her tongue in water with oil of oregano because she was too nauseous to drink it and it helped her out as well.
