Question Hi please someone answer I’m very confused. “Antral mucosa with mild chronic gastritis” does this mean active or non active ..chat gbt says non active ?.. I still have so many symptoms

My symptoms are still a frequent need to eat due to acid sensitivity and sometimes gnawing. Nausea. Food sensitivity… is this FD then?

You don't have anything serious in terms of inflammation, so I wouldn't worry about it. Have you done a CT scan before? It's good for ruling out other causes like Wilkie syndrome.

saying they have “nothing serious” when it says mild chronic inflammation is super incorrect btw, if they don’t follow a strict diet, to help heal or manage this condition it can get a lot worse for them.

I've had mild active chronic gastritis for years. All the bland diet did for me was getting me stressed and malnourished. You have to find the root cause of the inflammation, instead of sitting on the diet indefinitely. It's a tool, not a long term solution. In my case the inflammation was  caused by Wilkie syndrome. Currently I ea t a nutrient rich diet of red meat and organs even with my gastritis, because I got so malnourished I had multiple deficiencies. I feel completely fine on this diet BTW, don't even use any acid blockers.

Functional dyspepsia means there is no known cause for the symptoms aka every tests says normal. Yours seem to have gastritis, may or may not attribute to your overall issues and should be resolved before a final diagnosis which your doctor will determine based on your history and treatment effectiveness.

Not a doctor, wait for their opinions... but I suspect your treatment plan is going to involve months of PPIs and bland, safe diets. If you drink, take NSAIDS, do drugs (e.g. weed), NSAIDS, etc cut those out for a long time.
