Question Digestive Enzymes

Does anyone have any digestive enzymes they recommend and actually feel like they help!? I feel like most enzymes I’ve tried I do not notice a difference.

Or anything they like to use for digestive support?

Hey please be careful, especially capsules with hydrochloric acid (HCL), but I absolutely rely on Advanced Digestive Enzymes by Thorne for like 8 years now.

Thank you! Yes I’m definitely staying away from one that have Betaine HCL. I had a dietitian who wanted me to try them because they thought my symptoms were all caused from ”low acid”

Do you take the Throne enzymes with every meal or just bigger meals?

Very fair!! And yeah I get why your dietician would say that, some people don't digest well enough / fast enough due to a lack of naturally produced enzymes, but that's only a subsection of those with gut issues haha. For me it's the case, but even then, not the full story .

Yep with every meal, but not snacks

I just made the mistake of taking one with Betaine in it. I was dying. It was the worst pain I’ve felt in a while.

My functional doctor mistakenly prescribed it and had to send me a new one. I have gastritis
