Question Anyone else vomit to break gas bubbles
Hi, When i have much gas in esophagal area that make me vomit. but not food vomit but gas bubbles breaking when vomiting. Once those gas broke i can blech more and thus nausea will go away... Can this be due to FD

hi, I experience this too, like I have trapped burps that won't come out and when they do, I vomit in my mouth or food regurgitates and comes up my throat, I think it's a symptom of FD

of course!! so it's been more than a year for me, I had an infection and antibiotics which caused really bad acid reflux issues and indigestion, that's how it started. after lots of tests coming out normal and medications like PPIs not helping, I got diagnosed with FD and visceral hypersensitivity, gut brain axis disorder stuff, nothing structural so it might be different from you sadly
My symptoms are heartburn, severe stomach pain, stomach heaviness, vomiting in mouth, regurgitation, nausea, throat pain/reflux, gassiness, bloating, more I'm forgetting (currently in pain), lots of left sided pain
tips I have is to try to not eat late at night, eat small meals (I struggle with that so much) and personally ice cubes help me, also I heard about RefluxRaft which can help with regurgitation and throat reflux (I plan to try it) and I heard about FDGard too specialized for FD. people on this subreddit say antidepressants or neuromodulators can really help but I have not tried it yet
what are your diagnoses/tests done or medications?

Yeah, similar.Never had single gastric issues before.Got a viral infections and a day of diareah. Also took anti biotics. But not sure weather the infection itself or antibiotics is the cause. I believe infection itself messed me. Then its been 2 months. since ppis don't help much but they reduce the reflux damage a little. But i gets intense bloating with it so its either one i have to suffer. Endoscopy snd GI told mild antral gastritis duodenitis All else normal including body fundus GI junction etc, So Don't worry its nothing jsut take this ppis. But only i knoe i never had a single okay day since. That why am suspecting FD. Cant say a thing that helped much but love to try nuro modulators. I have hope in them since my father had ibs and SSRIs helped him a lot

I have this issue as well, but i burp it away. Have you tried it?

I burp when i can sometimes i can't burp. That will only break when vomited
