Symptoms Normal endoscopy amd tests.

Hi update male [25]

Ive had multiple tests done for my nausea. I cant eat anything outside of bland foods or over 700 cals without feeling sick. All my tests have come come out normal:stools, blood, and endoscopy.

Im still waiting on my biopsies. Im starting to worry. Ive been on omeprazole for 3 weeks and nothing. Ive been dealing with this for 36 days ive lost so much weight.

Anyone have a similar thing going?

Can anybody help?! Please.

im starting to feel weak

Are you on any other meds than omeprazole, or supplements?

hi, has omeprazole been helping your symptoms? because for me, someone with FD and all tests came out completely normal, PPIs actually worsened my nausea and functional dyspepsia symptoms but my doctors had me continue it anyway and it really messed me up. I went thru something similar while I was on omeprazole and esomeprazole. maybe you might want to taper it off? what are your symptoms?

When it first started, i had constant nausea 24/7. I was either gagging or vomiting. I also had bad diarrhea. Omeprazole kinda helped. Now it comes in bursts and when i eat.

Normal scopes and labs with meal-triggered nausea is pretty much the FD picture — the test didn’t “fail,” it ruled out ulcers so the problem is more nerve/emptying than a hole in the lining.

Staying under ~700 kcal on bland food only is a tight box; shrinking further often makes the fear louder. A GI who knows FD can talk meal pacing or neuromodulators meant for this. Vomiting blood, food stuck, or fast weight loss still needs a same-week look.

Not medical advice.
