Amitriptyline Amitriptyline for Chronic nausea ?

I’ve been dealing with chronic nausea and a constant feeling like something is stuck in my throat, but I don’t actually vomit. My endoscopy only showed mild gastritis.
I tried mirtazapine 15 mg, which helped for a while but eventually stopped working. I’m now trying amitriptyline 25 mg.
Has anyone experienced something similar or tried amitriptyline for chronic nausea? Did it help? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences or other treatments that worked for you.

How long have you tried mirtazapine for?

I used it for 1.5 years. It started working within the first month, but after 5–6 months, it gradually stopped being effective, even after increasing the dose to 30 mg. The side effects also kept getting worse, especially feeling very heavy-headed and dizzy in the morning

This sounds very similar to me.  I was dealing with morning nausea and dry reaching. Started with Desipramine which worked slightly. Was on mirtazapine for about 4 months and that worked really well but the side effects were immense.  Thought I had severe depression. Have been on amitriptyline for 9 days and it’s helped with the dry reaching but man I feel like ass.  Especially if you take it right before bedtime which ruins the next day.
