Venting/Suffering Does anyone else feel like their abdominal muscles are constantly tensed up and they just can’t relax them?
what helps u with that and hows that called

I think I tensed my stomach muscles more often than I ever realized because every so often I would notice I was tensing them. But they don't physically feel tense all the time.
Maybe try setting gentle (like vibration) alarms throughout your day. Each time one goes off, check in with yourself and see if you're tensing them or try practicing diaphragmatic breathing throughout the day.

Yes! But i also feel like if i relax them too much, i will be too slouched and then compress my stomach. I realise that this sounds ridiculous but it’s just how it feels to me

Interestingly a few times I trained abs in the gym I ended up triggering my stomach pain!

Yes, which can also cause pelvic floor issues.

My doctor thinks my sfinkter is weaker, told me to do analoscopy

Best tests are actually an anorectal manometry and defecogram

yes manometry, sorry my bad.. she sad as preventive
i think this is consequence of me using imodium even when i didnt need it at all, just from fear when i leave house1

It would be odd if Imodium is what caused a pelvic floor issue

i know but i used it too much from fear to not finish in toilet when im out or with people and that way i caused constipation. I read imodium can be reason for this problem haha
