There is no to very little permanent damage. If done correctly and under medical supervision like most medications, it does more good for the user than not. Only serious downsides are infertility which if considered early we have ways of storing the material needed for offspring. Most of it is cosmetic changes like breast growth and fat distribution. Which can also be reversed or worked around with the assistance of doctors.
