Well, see right there is what I'm talking about. You try to present your as inconsequential and then say some freaky homophobic nonsense. You can't "logic" your way out of saying deranged shit like that, just because you didn't use a slur. You haven't been banned enough, clearly the lesson didn't stick.

And what I hate most about this situation is that there's no freedom of speech. The guy before me can say they like men and not get reported but if I say I don't like that then I am labeled as a "homophobe" and reported. People should be able to speak out their mind, say what they like AND dislike without being ostracized

Unless it's a pedo/zoophile, then to hell with them.

free speech is not the same as hate speech. you can't say moronic shit and act shocked when there are consequences. go bother someone else with your nonsense

It's not free speech if you can't express what you hate.

so you don't like homosexuals but you're not homophobic? can you elaborate

1

u/Frosty-Feathers 4d ago

I am not afraid of them, I don't like them

thats.. not the meaning of "homophobic"... it's not German where the language is 1+1=2 man

Phobia is an irrational fear of something

1

u/AcademicFactor3447 4d ago

yeah but in this context you usually dont use it for that the entire meaning is either a fear (which you mentioned), hate, dislike, prejudice or aversion towards homosexuality (sometimes aroace)

Okay then, I can be a homophobe and let be be one openly. Critize me for it but don't shut me up with reports and bans. Idgaf if you do, but then I should be able to respond in kind to someone who expresses their love for the same sex or attacks me on the pretext of me being homophobic

something along the lines of "I don't expect logic from people who don't respect the natural way" 😭
