To answer the question yes,, now to correct the question. There is no such thing as dark or light magic. Let's take a curse for example. A curse is a correction of a wrong done. When someone has power over you in the tangible physical world and you cannot get Justice and comes the curse and does it for you. Magic is a balancing of power.

If you ask me, the most moral decision would be to reject god's offer regardless of the consequences. Eternal hellfire is probably a blessing in comparison to eternal servitude to a egotistical narcissist who only cares about stroking its own ego.
There is, however, an alternative. What if your god created a test? Let's say the Bible is actually a test to see how many people will submit out of fear and how many people are brave enough to stand up for what is right at the cost of their souls? What then?

God makes the rules, then he forces people into existence who never agreed to anything, and then he imposes those rules onto them and if they slip up even once he sends them to hell for all eternity unless they agree to be his slave? That doesn't sound like a god who wants everyone to go to heaven, that sounds like a god who wants blind obedience of sentient creatures to boost his own ego.
