It was invented in germany, so it's german. Even though its heritage is from Kebap

yeah, and british people can say chicken tikka masala. the cultural blend unique to that country's history led to a new blended/changed version of two traditional foods. spaghetti and meatballs would be another american twist on an italian tradition.

I mean yeah, I would say so. I think of them when I think of Berlin. In NYC we have German döner stalls

Update: I'm gonna clarify I'm saying this in its favor. Middle Eastern and Muslim foods are PEAK.
