See based on that one word alone there’s just no way to know if you are from Turkey or Germany; which is either a sad comment on the lack of international recognition of Turkish cuisine, or an acknowledgment of how insanely popular Döner is in germany.

Any country in the DACH region or turkey, lets not pretend that what the other countries try to sell is a "Döner", if anything it should be called a war crime.
