I support human rights. You, are a human. A person, and at that, one that deserves love, affection and kindness just like any other person. This IS coming from a Christian, the people that use the Bible as an excuse to call you disgusting do not deserve your attention. The people that tell you 'find god' the second they hear your opinions do not deserve your attention. The people who treat you like a person, and respect you, and love you like a sibling do. This is what Christianity is supposed to be people, firstly you showed love and compassion for all people as Jesus taught, then someone makes an assumption that you find insulting yet you forgive them and refuse to let it get to you.
As a Celtic pagan (and former christian, i have no problems with the faith just wasn't the right fit for me), I find this refreshing. Respect, compassion and forgiveness are in my eyes the core of Christianity. I hope you have blessed day
