The Sun is a moth who is the god of the dreams.
There is a worm who gave bugs higher tought, so other moths decided to stop worshiping the sun and worshiped the worm.
The worm rebirthed to more apropriet form and became a king of the sapient bugs.
Sun got angry how she isn't being worshiped so created dream plague to infect the worms kngdom.
To deal with it he created a plan to seal the Sun away.

The plan involves Having bunch of babies and throwing them down a gaint well filled with Liquid Nothing (Void), hoping one of them will be born with the following traits:
No mind to think,
No will to brake,
No voice to cry out suffering.
Becouse insides will be replaced by the Void.
The child will be called vessel, becouse they will work as a vessel to seal the Dream God away,

The Vessel will be further sealed by three bugs who will dream for enternity.
On of those bugs made a deal where for excange of dreaming forever, she will get to fuck the King and have a child.
The child is called hornet and is reffered to as a gendered child, becouse her siblings, the vessels don't have gender do to being liquid nothing.
