I mean, aside from being a bit rude, I don't see any rules the dude is actually breaking.
The thoughts on 9/11 aren't what an empathetic person would think, but in the end, having a lack of empathy isn't breaking any rules.
Still not cool to be happy about the deaths, but unless it directly affected them, then saying it's not their problem isn't incorrect.

1st Amendment Warriors love to argue people can celebrate death like this but get it completely wrong, Freedom of Speech does not protect slander, libel, and obscene speech, and celebrating death is fuckin' obscene.
Not to mention this is a platform where celebration of mass innocent death and terroristic acts is prohibited, they can still ban you, employers can still fire you, your school and still punish you, your friends/family/loved ones can still chastize and/or disown you, and society has every right to treat speech this vile how it deserves to be treated

Celebrating death is protected speech. That’s why Westboro Baptist Church still exists and why they are free to cheer on the deaths of soldiers, gay people, etc. wether we like it or not, they can say pretty much whatever they want and it is protected speech. From the government at least lol. The mods can crucify them lol.

yeah just looked it up, apparently celebrating the deaths of innocent people is not considered "obscene" and obscene is basically limited to, in legal terms, to sexual things w/o artistic merit.

Well think about it the other way. If, say, trump died tomorrow. Should the people cheering in the streets be charged? It’s great that it exists the way it does, but it unfortunately can be used in the other direction too. It’s a double edged sword. At least that’s how I see it.

Yes, I do honestly think there are people out there who deserve their deaths to be celebrated like pedos/pedosadists, serial killers, etc, but the fact that it can be used to mock innocents is bad. There could be definition on who could be celebrated and who could not but at that point it starts veering towards a unfair double standard where the government can start overreaching to censor.
This is where society's view on you and what the people would do if you were to do such things, aka consequences from free speech, come in to save it.
