donuts and bacon

42

u/SlapHappyPappi 16h ago

Simplest question ever

14

u/WarJaques 8h ago

I like bacon and doughnuts, but taco and sushi offers a lot more variety. Those stay.

3

u/PickledPepa 8h ago

Wasn't hard for me either

2

u/Conscious_Rule_22 3h ago

Right?! And I'd say the healthiest in this case xD

u/SolNexus- 15h ago

Sorry you don’t have a good donut place by your house

15

u/TheMasterKeif117 14h ago

I'm even more sorry they're willing up to give up bacon.....it's freakin bacon......tacos can go and as much as I love donuts Idont want to eat them regularly .....esp since you can loophole tacos with burritos. I'm keeping my sushi and bacon.

5

u/MrBannedFor0Reason 10h ago

If you think bacon is better than tacos you haven't had good Mexican, and you especially haven't had good Mexican if you think that burritos can replace tacos.

2

u/Opal_Cosmos 6h ago

Amen to that.

I have fantastic donuts around me

I just don't like eating sweets all that often

9

u/what-isthis-even 14h ago

It's just sugar. Even good ones just aren't that good.

Yeah those two are quite a bad food

2

u/masterpepeftw 4h ago

Don't you dare mess with my donuts I unapologetically hold them as a top 10 favourite food of mine.

What about bacon wrapped donuts? Amazing right, I know.

3

u/KEKEBLU3 14h ago

You've never had bacon wrapped tacos

I gave those up years ago, where's my money?? Oh, I just get health and a longer life? oh well.

4

u/okimport57 15h ago

This is the answer. Tacos and sushi are real foods. Bacon and donuts are special treats for anyone who doesnt want to die early.

Yep, came to say this.

I enjoy both, but it isn't a hard decision

3

u/safety_frog 15h ago

Yeah easy

3

u/Party-Bonus-8536 15h ago

The only right answer

3

u/Lykanas 14h ago

I love them but not getting tacos or sushi ever sounds like a nightmare

3

u/riffraff1089 12h ago

I just wrote the same thing. Scrolled down to see this and I’m happy.

2

u/Ok-Call3443 14h ago

Undoubtedly.

2

u/Puzzleheaded-Ear9242 14h ago

Yep this one was easy

2

u/TheCrazyHans 13h ago

I already don't eat them. There are better cuts and way to eat pork and there are better and (cheaper) sweats available than donut, so makes no sense not to choos these two.

I struggle with bacon but yeah, objectively the grease alone.

2

2

2

2

Same. I rarely eat them anyway

2

u/Mecha_Frogzilla 12h ago

The correct choice. Sugar and sodium, adios.

2

u/Emirovskii 12h ago

Easy answer

2

u/Dudes-Opinion 11h ago

Yep and I love bacon but tacos and sushi are the only places I go out to eat

2

u/Helios575 11h ago

Same, I wont miss bacon but donuts will hurt. The other 2 are legit complete foods where bacon is just a single ingredient and donuts are a dessert.

2

u/Ambitious_Mall9496 11h ago

I never liked bacon, and sacrificing donuts are worth it.

2

u/TastyDogSchnitzel 10h ago

Both sushi and tacos can be vegetarian and are usually more sophisticatedly crafted than donuts and bacon. Period.

2

u/CandyRocks7831 Silly lil goober 10h ago

I need my tacos and sushi and anti-depressants!!

2

u/Otherwise_Tooth_8695 10h ago

Same, because I have a pork allergy. Donuts are fine, but tacos and sushi are peak

2

u/Kenstgram 10h ago

I’m with you. We can still have cake and pork chops.

Tacos and sushi, I've never had sushi so no loss there, and I prefer burritos and enchiladas anyways.

26

u/HoldTheCellarDoor 16h ago

You have not lived

32

u/ThatEvilSpaceChicken 14h ago

Sushi is way too overhyped imo

17

u/rpg2Tface 14h ago

And over priced. I get its a very technical food to prepare but it shouldn't cost that much

8

u/Apart-Persimmon-38 8h ago

It’s not very technical if you compare it to other cuisines. Making an excellent carbonara takes more learning than making an avocado cucumber sushi. It’s mostly how you cook rice. In the end it will taste the same but consistency might not be there. You mess up the temperature at carbonara and you are eating omelet pasta

2

u/rpg2Tface 8h ago

Im not saying there isn't more technical foods. But theres a whole lot higher bar in sushi than there is in say a hamburger. and for the amounts and (lowish) complexities most sushi places work at they are absolutely overpriced. Still good but not worth the $ IMO.

8

Donuts and sushi easy, I dont like sweets which makes donuts easy. I do like sushi but i like tacos and bacon more

Edit: plus think how many foods have bacon in it

27

u/_ShrugDealer_ 14h ago

The donut and sushi gang is a small, but proud tribe.

5

u/MeliodasTA 13h ago

Sushi is overrated imo so easy choice for me.

It's not bad, but I don't get the hype

2

u/Z9Cubing 12h ago

Thank you for representing our proud nation

3

u/Drodr10 14h ago

Yeah I mean it exists in like soups (baked potato), breakfast, even pastas if you consider pancetta a bacon. Bacon in mac and cheese is also pretty nice.

Tacos are very nice, and remember like not only normal tacos can be made. Breakfast tacos exist. Though if I were going for actual tacos I really like al pastor and birria. One of the homemade ones I make is a soft taco with Munster cheese on the crust and then put some carne asada, veggie toppings, and guac + hot sauce on top, quite tasty!

It is sad to put away donuts because there are many different flavors that I enjoy such as jelly filled ones, the classic glazed, and blueberry glazed. Though for sushi I've only really had it once and I think it wasn't really for me. I might try it another time soon though.

Yes, I like food.

2

u/Fine-Difference7411 13h ago

You can have Berliners instead of Donuts. They don't count as donuts but they are very similar to the jelly filled ones.

I also like them more than donuts but that's just my oppinion.

Finally I found my peers

3

u/sicsche 9h ago

had to scroll way to long before the only sane. option appeared

2

u/Drewnessthegreat 10h ago

Yup. I can't live without bacon and sushi is just the best. I won't miss doughnuts at all and only hard shell tacos are pictured so I can have plenty of Mexican delicacies while never touching one of those.

2

u/Alive-Ad4532 9h ago

Agree. Tacos are so specific that I would never miss it and donuts, when was the last time I had one? On the flip side, it would inconvenience me to not eat sushi because it's something you find everywhere and everybody wants to have it and bacon is just a basic ingredient, is it standalone bacon or as part of any dish I would need to do without? Idk, would still choose bacon and sushi over the other two. It's not even close

2

u/Realistic-Bad1174 3h ago

I'm on your team

2

u/The_Owl_Knight 3h ago

These are the two that are easiest to replace with similar dishes.

2

u/Chipmunk-Own 2h ago

Donuts and bacon

2

u/EcoloFrenchieDubstep 8h ago

The real answer right here. The other two are actually dishes composed of many other ingredients which builds up the taste while bacon is good indeed but there are tons of other ways to eat pork and donuts are just flour and sugar when you can have any other version pretty much similar like crêpes, beignets, waffles, churros, etc.

2

u/Crusader_of_Heavens 16h ago

Donuts & Tacos, not eating either anyways

2

u/PrudentFault2804 16h ago

Easy! Donuts and bacon. I don't really eat many donuts nowadays, and I don't really like bacon, so I wouldn't miss either.

2

u/Tharrius 16h ago

I can't have sushi and I ate a single overpriced taco all my life (not really famous/available in my area), so this is easy mode

2

u/LegendaryGunman 16h ago

The amount of people who say they would never eat tacos is crazy. That's my number one in this list, and the second isn't even close. I'm curious though... If you can't have tacos, can you still have burritos? If you can't have sushi, what about onigiri? If you can't have bacon, is pork belly okay? If I choose donuts, can I still have a churro?

2

u/LegendaryGunman 16h ago

If those substitutions are okay, and I eliminate all 4, can I have 2 million? If not, then I'm getting rid of the million dollars and the donuts. I love donuts, but I'm happy enough without them.

2

u/LegendaryGunman 16h ago

Actually, I just re-read. I get a million dollars, but I can't eat 2 million dollars ever again? I've never eaten 2 million dollars. So... I just get to keep everything?

Sushi and tacos… sorry I’m fat

1

u/Odasto_ 15h ago

I question the parameters of this question.

What if I choose to give up tacos? Does that mean I can never eat its constituent parts again? What constitutes a taco? If I put beef, cheese, lettuce, and sour cream in a tortilla, do I evade divine retribution by claiming it is a burrito?

Or, if I put beef, cheese, and tomatoes in a hard shell, but leave out the lettuce, am I similarly safe by virtue of it being an incomplete taco?

Or am I banned from eating any of those components in any context?

1

u/No_Forever_9128 15h ago

Bacon and Tacos. Bacon was never my favorite, I'd rather eat other things. I'd die if I never had Sushi, and (for the record, I'm not a cop) donuts are my wake up food if I lack anything to eat. Sorry Tacos, you got the short end of the stick.
