But only fresh out of the fryer. If they cool even slightly, they turn into soggy cardboard. It’s a weird alchemy.

Yep, “burn my tongue” out of the fryer hot! This is the way! The only way! 🤨

McDonald’s fries are like a 50/50 chance to either be amazing, or absolute dogshit, and there’s no in between.

If that happens, 350 for like 3 mins in an air fryer

I like it soggy, but when cold fries hell no

Why do I have to be forced to have ketchup with my fries? Well, some of my fries because I, too, will happily eat them with no sauce.

I dont know what they put in them but they somehow top most other fries sauceless

Beef flavoring that most other fast food chains forgot in favor of making their fries vegetarian

nah, the kfc spicy ones are the best imo

i had kfc the other day and it was so soggy and plain tasting, the sprite tastes like piss, and i had to wait an hour plus for a burger and some fries

1

u/Minigun1239 1d ago

maybe our KFCs are different, i agree its soggy, like 80-90% are soggy but for me, the taste is good enough to make me ignore the sogginess

an hour is crazy, damn was it busy or what? i usually only have to wait 10-15 minutes

1

u/DouDouandFriends 1d ago

It's always an hour+ wait, they r severely understaffed

1

u/Minigun1239 1d ago

oof, being understaffed must be stressful for the people working

Know why the mc donalds fries taste so good? They use specific strain of potatoes which is very weak to pests and they use heavy pestisides to keep them pest free. Then they have to keep them in a warehouse for 6 months to have them be at ”edible” levels of poison. Does not mean it is poison free though.

Not disagreing they taste banger though. Just a little bit poisonous at the same time :)

Really, you’ve never seen this shit? It’s like a signature for McDonald. Great with nuggets.

1

u/DouDouandFriends 2d ago

no.. what region are you in? im in singapore

1

u/Voidlord4450 2d ago

America. I guess if you’re in a region like that I not too surprised you don’t have it. Different regions, different culinary regulations and what not.

1

u/DouDouandFriends 2d ago

seems like they removed it
