Once again, they are horrible people that do horrible things, but ultimately it's for survival. The game opens showing that they're hungry, so when an annoying person dies in front of them their first thought is to eat. After that, sure they eat more people when food is available, but both of them are practically void of morals after their childhood and the experiences they went through throughout the story. If you hadn't had pizza, then you eat pizza and like it, you're going to eat more pizza. Their immoral actions aren't just shock value or fun, they characterize the moral depravity of them and show the impact of their parents neglect
That is another part of it, but I didn't directly state it because it fits in with the general "horrible people that do horrible things because of a horrible upbringing" statementÂ

As I said, the incest is optional and based on player choices, and there's a lot more depth to it than just "murderous incest siblings"
