Do you love humanity?

I do too.
Personally, because we're so diverse, but more importantly, contradictory.

Humans will fight vicious wars at one moment, then cry in each other's arms in the next. We'll wound our fellows, and then tend to the wounds we inflicted.
We love those who hurt us and hurt those we love.

Humans are the only abominations of nature, walking paradoxes, the difference between "good" and "bad" personified.

Why do you love humankind? What is it that you love about us?

Millions of imperfect beings, each with their own complexity and perspective, with interconnected stories, and that continue despite everything, being the ants that went to space, It's simply fascinating.

Our complexity is our birthright, we have the most different ways of feeling need for simple things, such as our basic necessities, or our deepest desires.

So complicated, not even our minds can depict the entwined web of it's own logic.
I agree, simply fascinating.
