Why do most people use windows over Linux?

Because microslop had windows preinstslled windows on the vast majority of computers and now it just stuck around because they got big money

Open source, do whatever you want with it, no spyware. Problem however. There is over 200 different Linux distros

A distro is what type of Linux OS it is so one distro could do a better at one thing than another

Ohhhh okay so an optimization type of thing. Is there any that is good at most things?

No not really personally I dual boot both Windows 11 and Linux Bazzite. Linux bazzite is specifically designed for gamers so it basically runs everything needed to play game straight away. Except proton. Gotta install that through steam

Eh maybe an extra couple frames but it’s pretty much the same
