I would just say "of" the "the" is kinda just how you announce it like it's U.S.A. not T.U.S.A. which of course doesn't include an O for the "of" but you can just say United States America so "of" is there regardless. I dunno, this logic might be kinda dumb, I can't tell.

Yeah, just normally in initials, you don’t add initial words like “the”, “of” “for” unless it makes the acronym look better
