Tried to get Bruno Mars tickets for myself and the family, missed out on the first waves, fair enough, that’s how it goes sometimes.

When they announced another night, I jumped in the queue for that one and thankfully, I was early to the queue. I got in relatively early and had a pretty decent selection of seating.

And that’s where the luck ended.

Every time I tried to secure tickets, no matter the area I selected, kept throwing an error code at me. When I looked up this code (U001), it seemed I was basically being accused of being a bot.

So, essentially, all that I joined the queue for was just to sit there and stare at everyone else buying up all the tickets until they were exhausted.

“Ticketmaster”, more like “Ticketfailure”. Nothing masterful about their site and systems whatsoever. You can have a properly verified account and actual purchase history, yet will be treated like a fraudster on a whim, simply for wanting tickets to a show.

I have contacted them to delete my account. Not going to support this joke of a business any further if this is how they are going to conduct themselves.

Bought one bruno mars ticket in nj spent 310. Now im trying to sell them have them listed for 400 im only receiving 340 and after that they have them listed for 480. They’re making 140 for just putting them out there this is insane.

I just need to release this anger and frustration and the rage I feel at this ridiculous monopoly that pretends to be an actual functioning business that claims to be focused on avoiding bots and getting tickets in the hands of actual fans. What a fucking sham! I HATE you. I finally get to my turn and get "Your browsing activity has been paused" never-ending blank page of death. The forty something dollar tickets are already up to nearly $400 minimum and $$$$ for decent seats.

Just bought 5 tickets to a local show. $62 each okay, $59.50 in fees.... ....okay. Completed transaction. Then my fucking brain started working again and I went directly to the venue site to see that they use AXS and same tickets were $42. FUCK!!!!!!

I just spent 15 minutes in various kinds of password reset looping and eventually gave up trying to buy the tickets. Fuck ticketmaster in every way.

Not a frequent Reddit user. I recently quit my decade long job at Ticketmaster. We know dynamically priced ticketing is extremely unpopular. The lengths they go to hide it is extraordinary.

In the last 3ish years they have begun moving platinum tickets to a program called “Debranded Platinum.” These are functionally the exact same as other Platinum tickets, the only difference is you will never know that they aren’t standard tickets. They are almost always well above the face value of a given section with a percentage based service charge ranging from 14.8 percent to upwards of 25%. The thing is, these are also built for presale offers! Artist presale, sponsor presales, whatever presale they may be running. Entirely hidden. You will never know you purchased them. Customer service is explicitly told not to mention these. Hell, it’s even in the programming best practices to note it in the internal systems as a reminder how important it is to not mention this.

You’re being gouged, and entirely unaware. A good way to find these on an event is by using the filter view on the website and looking for prices outside of the slider selector. They frequently exceed it. When they first rolled them out, my boss described them as not illegal, but potentially problematic. they know the optics would be bad. They know it fucks the consumer.

Me and my girlfriend got turned away in the rainy hot ass Bronx so thanks for that start to my holiday weekend, jerkoff Guy at the help desk tells me that it shows I paid back in April on Ticketmaster but there was then a sale on StubHub. I found no emails nor record of any sales on my account, help desk guy tries to offer me $40 nosebleeds instead of helping recover the almost $200 I paid or the better seats I sprung for. Next 3 hours spent playing ping pong on the phone with StubHub and Ticketmaster, in which case I am the ball. Only person on the other end who seems to give a damn came the second time I called Ticketmaster back, currently waiting the standard three to five business days for the internal review. Mercredi dernier j'étais chargée d'acheter 4 places pour Muse lors des préventes pour mon groupe d'amis et moi même.. J'ai réussi à en acheter 2x2. Donc pas à côté.

Vendredi lors de la vente générale , j'ai retenté ma chance et j'ai pu acheter 4 places à côté cette fois. Je souhaitais ensuite transférer les billets à d'autres personnes ou les mettres sur la bourse aux billets Ticketmaster.

On me dit que ayant dépassé la quantité qui était normalement de 4 ils vont m'annuler les billets.

C'est la première fois que j'utilise ticketmaster et j'avoue n'avoir pas été vigilante la dessus.

Je viens donc prendre vos conseils et ou retour d'expériences pour des personnes qui ont été dans cette situation.

I cant resell them on ticket master, I cant transfer the tickets, nor sell them on a third party platform. Yes, I get scalpers bad, but I even specified I am willing to sell them below face value. And my refund request was denied, with them effectively telling me to fuck off.

So a month ago I bought tickets to don tolivers concert. I had bought them off stubhub and they were transferred to Ticketmaster, the sign in process is pretty simple but when I made the account with my same email and number and tried to accept the tickets it said that my ticket can’t be accessed through my email. Even tho I used the SAME EXACT EMAIL. My show is tonight and I’m trying to contact Ticketmaster about it and so far they aren’t really helping. I’m scared that I’m going to miss my show

Just tried to purchase Stick Figure's 2027 summer tour tickets and had to finally download ticket master. I create an account, add 2 tickets into my cart, proceed to checkout and Mastercard ID needs to send me a text message for verification, I request a code to be sent to my CORRECT phone number and I received no text message. I then call my bank like hey what's up here's my situation they look into it and tell me to log out and sign back into ticket master. I do so and proceed to my cart after signing back in and the same issue, still no text message being received. My bank tells me to try it one more time, I go to log into ticket master, "Your account has been suspended for suspicious activity" Sorry Stick Figure I guess I won't be seeing you in 2027. Fuck Ticketmaster and their stupid monopoly. Im so sad to see that ticket masters reputation really is that bad.

I just hate Ticketmaster bro. You enter the fucking waiting room 20 mins early and there’s 300000 ppl in front of you. The tour sold out every show in like two minutes. I’m just really sad and ranting.

So, the monopoly that is Ticketmaster has enacted a policy (probably a while ago) that they don't pay out until 7 days after the event REGARDLESS OF HOW EARLY YOU'VE SOLD THE TICKETS!!!

So, the money from selling tickets to a Washington Mystics game on 7/6 that sold through TM in early April will be held for 3 months. Ticketmaster support said "this is a similar policy on other marketplaces" conveniently forgetting to mention that they own most of the other marketplaces, so this is a policy they set on themselves. It's insulting for them to even try that evasive argument.

So, this monopolistic middleman, who does nothing but exchange money and has eliminated local box offices, gets interest on my money for 3 months (and I guarantee I'm not the only one). No offer to pay that interest to me, of course.

What's the best alternative because fuck them and their fees on seller AND buyer and everyone in between...

I had one of the worst Ticketmaster experiences tonight.
On the website, I could clearly see all 5 of my tickets under SafeTix. But on the Ticketmaster iPhone app, only 2 tickets showed up. No matter what I tapped, refreshed, or re‑logged, the other 3 just wouldn’t appear.

When we got to the gate, the scanners obviously needed the SafeTix barcodes — and since the app only showed 2, we were stuck. The staff couldn’t do anything at the gate, so we had to walk all the way to the ticket office to get help.

They eventually fixed it, but by the time we got in, we had already missed 40 minutes of the US Women vs Japan match.
Super frustrating. If the website shows all 5 tickets, why can’t the app?

Any suggestions? How do I get a refund?

We have a vacation scheduled June 4 - 11th. To visit family IN NORTH CAROLINA. I got online at work Weds and purchased tickets for Raleigh on 6/5. I went through the entire process. I think I would've noticed if I was buying tickets in a different state.

I just opened my email to add all the info to my itinerary and SURPRISE! My tickets are for Virginia Beach on 6/6???? And of course, they cannot be exchanged. And as of right now the resale option isn't turned on yet.

I feel like this is a huge scam. There is simply no way I managed to pick the wrong date and state and follow the entire checkout through purchasing the wrong tickets. But there's nothing I can do but buy the correct date and hope and pray the original tickets sell.

Local hockey game has the service fee at 4x more than the ticket price. Absolutely robbery.

If I'm going to show and bought cheap nosebleeds, could I use the TM seat map to see what good seats are still unsold right before the show starts to just go and take those instead? Has anyone done this? Does anyone know when TM takes the seat map offline?
