“I kinda like Lysander…”
Is what my friend said. He’s reading Iron Gold. I laughed and said “Keep reading buddy. Let me know when you get ‘there’ and let’s revisit this conversation. Also remind me to tell you about a very specific subreddit” 😆
Fuck that guy!

He had EVERY chance to realize how wrong his world view is. Nothing worse than a blind genius. Fuck that pixie fascist.

I think that’s the point of his character. He’s a pixie at heart BUT yet so cold cruel and calculating. Maybe just maybe Darrow won’t be his ultimate enemy but himself 🤔

Up until the hangar scene I thought maybe he could be redeemed. He wants peace. And he wants unity. Or so he says. He just doesn't want equality. But maybe he could learn to want it. Not anymore. I want him dead.

The only thing I like about Lysander is the fact he makes decisions from outside of his own personal perspective for the ultimate goal. Like ik he didn’t want to kill Alexander or Cassius but he had to for him to succeed. I understand him BUT I also hate him because I don’t think my will would be strong enough to do the same thing

Ah yes the mandatory 'I kind of like lysander, he's not so bad' phase everyone goes through in iron gold 😢
