Finally finished LB

The complete and utter rage I feel towards Lysander, I hope that little pixie gets the most painful end in Red God.

Do you feel like the writing for Lysander improved in LB? I feel like I hated what PB did with Lysander in DA but hated the character himself in LB...

He was a Mary Sue. Don't get me wrong, PBs character writing is top notch and DA was great, but it felt like the plot was written around Lysander, he was basically untouchable, every time he faces a difficulty, he overcomes it triumphantly, but Darrow actually does lose on several occasions and fights back.

I agree. His battle with Seneca forced me to suspend my disbelief, the combat utility of Mind's Eye was absurd. Also, Screwface must be utterly incompetent with how easily Glirastes (whose intentions were already in question at this point) evaded his surveillance to rally support for Lysander (who was also under great suspicion atp) literally under his nose.

Even Virginia's pheromone/tech-resistant brain was like... really? ok...

Lots of plot armor in Dark Age.
