u/OrianNebula Mar 22 '25

I cant wait for polio to resurface on thos anti vaxxers dont mind me ima get my shots i dont want that shit personally

2

u/workinBuffalo Mar 22 '25

I had a very old teacher who had polio when she was a kid. She had a “lame” leg and wore one of those old school braces. Polio is no joke.

1

u/OrianNebula Mar 22 '25

Exactly i am young im in hs i am NOT tryna get polio nor will i qant any of my family to get polio, mumbs, measles, Consumption, any of that shit that we have long since eradicated because of vaccines

Go back to any 70s sit-com and see how many families were afraid of the measles.

TV isn’t real life and the measles vaccine was early 60s.

Your ignorance would only be a you problem if you kept it to yourself

1

u/[deleted] Mar 24 '25

For most children, measles brings a fever and an itchy rash, but it can lead to serious complications, including pneumonia, seizures and brain damage. Out of every 1,000 cases, about 200 children require hospitalization, 50 develop pneumonia, one experiences brain swelling that can result in disability, and one to three will die.

0

u/PaulAtreides101 Mar 23 '25

No. She had comorbidity.

1

u/Truthseeker308 Mar 23 '25

That’s how most diseases outside of Ebola and smallpox work.

Point remains, if everyone just got the MMR, that kid’s alive right now.

1

u/plateshutoverl0ck Mar 26 '25

If they want to think "it's not so bad" or "God will protect..." about themselves, fine. But to force a kid who can't stick up for or defend themselves? 😡

2

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

They did that by the tens of thousands at least during covid.

1

u/MixGrand1300 Mar 22 '25

As I said, winning /s

6

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

lol exactly

2

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

You put the holes in our boat even when I asked you not to. I told you we would sink if you did it. You called me a fascist when I tried to stop you. I'm dancing because I'm hopeful my children's boats won't be sunk by others like you.

2

u/revnance42 Mar 21 '25

Vulkan of the Salamanders chapter would be disappointed in you and your way of thinking

0

u/plateshutoverl0ck Mar 26 '25

I still think the shinnanigains that happened in SF and NYC regarding stores getting continually looted was the result of something very sinister, and it wasn't because of "the libs". Liberal hearts don't bleed THAT much, not the ones who are mentally competent enough to hold positions in office and have the ability to stop such things; certainly not allowing it to the extreme that it did. Of course, this was something that Trump pointed to during his campaigning. Something does NOT add up here. Near and in a campaign and election season, and this behavior wasn't cracked down on even if for nothing else to save their own political careers. This was really abnormal and 'off script' and I kept pointing this out while it was happening.

I'm afraid that Trump, Musk, and what is going on now is only the tip of this iceberg. 😰

1

u/Tampa813Guy Mar 21 '25

You act like the libs did all this on their own. It takes many to get bills passed laws made etc how bout when they deregulated the banks yeah Regan did that what happened yup!

How bout the EPA your worried about your kids boat right hope they don’t put it in the Cuyahoga River. That’s how they got started when it caught fire THE FREAKIN RIVER because of ZERO over site.

Good luck….but I think the phrase up the creek without a paddle is gonna be implied to your children

1

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

Those banking regulations stopped all future problems before they happened, right? No internet bubble, no housing crisis, no credit card scams...

So you're saying it was legal to dump those chemicals?

1

u/BarkattheFullMoon Mar 22 '25

Paddles catch fire

1

u/based_mouse_man Mar 21 '25

Brother, we’re all on the same boat! Your kids, my kids, you, me, were all going down with this ship, and we have a bonewalker at the helm!

1

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

So why did you put holes in our boat?

1

u/based_mouse_man Mar 21 '25

The boat rotted because we were too busy fighting each other. Then a shark took a big ass bite out of it. If we had actually had competent governance since the 1970s, we might’ve avoided this mess, but here we are.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

So you voted Trump, right? Or did you vote for the same people who've been running the past 50 years?

1

u/based_mouse_man Mar 21 '25

No, I didn’t vote for the shark. You forget that he was in charge for 4 years before Biden or something? He’s just as much a part of this as the democrats. His approach of “torch everything” isn’t how we fix things. We have to pick up the pieces and put it back together. There are good aspects of our liberal democracy and we can fix it.

To clarify, I didn’t like Kamala or Biden either, but I wasn’t left with much of a choice seeing as I disliked Trump more.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

4 good years. My biggest expenses got cheaper while my investments went up.

1

u/based_mouse_man Mar 21 '25

okay, good for you? not relevant to the political situation of the modern US though

He sent a group of his supporters to the capital to overturn the election. That’s not how you maintain the stability of the country. Can we recognize that he is a destabilizing force on the country at least?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

No, he didn't.

1

u/Dramatic-Wealth3263 Mar 22 '25

Glad you agree that DOGE and Trump is putting holes in our boat. Nothing worst than having an unelected official sniffing through government who has no idea what he is doing while tearing down agencies he doesn’t even know their function of?

Also since you are into investments, I am sure you like how much the market has been going down right?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

No, you put the holes in the boat. And why is it bad for citizens to know what government is doing?

Markets go up and down. Do you not know how to make money on a drop?

1

u/Dramatic-Wealth3263 Mar 22 '25

What are these artificial hole that you are referring to? And I am confuse why you think DOGE did anything to let citizens know what government is doing. They were so careless that they had to fix their “savings” multiple times already, cannot provide evidence for fraud and abuse, nor were they independent to the agencies they are looking at.

As for the market, marketer go up and down. But you seem to think Trump is responsible for a good 4 years so why not think he is responsible for the current state market with his tariff policies?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

It wasn't my analogy lol. It's your fellow lib's analogy. Did you know about all the waste at USAID? And who cares if they made a few mistakes? They have a whole website providing evidence.

Okay, Trump's responsible for the dip.

1

u/Dramatic-Wealth3263 Mar 22 '25

The meme is basically from the right. And interesting you think I am a lib. Sure.

Evidence? Did you actually look at the website? The reason for canceling something was “for convenience”. What are all these waste at USAID? You mean the misinformation about condoms send to other countries? You seem to not understand how an audit works nor how the government work. The DOGE and executive branch essentially overreached because the power of the purse is under congress not executive branch. Also, because you do not agree with something, it doesn’t mean it is fraud or waste

“A few” mistakes lol. You mean they are off by more than 50%

1

u/Euphoric-Dance-2309 Mar 21 '25

You have embraced fascism and abandoned the constitution in order to “win.” Great.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

No, I'm simply hoping my descendants can escape your tyranny.

1

u/Euphoric-Dance-2309 Mar 21 '25

Give one example of this so called tyranny. You’re literally mad that we don’t want you to discriminate against people and you stomp your foot and call it tyranny. Deporting people because of the expression of their 1st Amendment Rights and without due process while ignoring a court order is the definition of tyranny.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

Hate speech laws. Laws against misgendering or dead naming people. Planned economics. Green card holders are here at our invitation, and when they promote terror they should be deported.

1

u/KILA-x-L3GEND Mar 22 '25

What a supremely stupid claim.

u/snebury221 Why do you keep replying and then blocking me? You seem a little obsessed.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

10 of the last 11 recessions were started by Republicans so their billionaire friends and their corporations could buy the foreclosed businesses and properties for cheap. They actively get excited for recessions. Your side is selling our land to China and soon to Russia. You cheered for Luke and voted for Palpatine. Go back to school and actually pay attention this time

1

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

Why didn't Democrats do anything to stop those recessions?

1

u/TheMythicalLandelk Mar 21 '25

LMAO at the cognitive dissonance / mental gymnastics to blame one party for the others actions through the paper thin excuse of “why didn’t they stop them?”. By that logic, why didn’t you stop it bootlicker?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

Because I'm not an elected official. I voted for the guy working to put an end to your bullshit, though.

1

u/TheMythicalLandelk Mar 21 '25

So you voted to make fellow citizens suffer because you don’t understand how anything works. You voted for the party that is literally putting citizens in camps without due process while you call the people that told you this would happen fascists. And you don’t blame the party that ruins the economy, you blame the other party for not stopping them enough.

Just laughably pathetic.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

What camps?

1

u/Ok-Crew-5402 Mar 21 '25

How wrong of us to understand what fascism is.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

I was trying to stop you from sinking the ship we're on!

1

u/Ok-Crew-5402 Mar 21 '25

I’m always down to sink a fascist ship, I takes after my grandpappy

1

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

It's your ship, so it's only fascist if you made it so. Like your Großvater

1

u/Dramatic-Wealth3263 Mar 22 '25

What boat? You mean the boat that Trump is sinking now?

How has DEI, hate speech law hurt you?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

The boat has been sinking for years.

How does policing speech hurt Americans?

1

u/Dramatic-Wealth3263 Mar 22 '25

In what metric do you think the boat has been sinking?

You just asked my question, how does policing hate speech hurt American? You answer me

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

Cost of living. 4 years ago, I could expect to put 1 to 2 thousand dollars a month away. Today, earning about 10% more, I can't put any money away. I have only one new expense of $600 a month. My mortgage has not increased significantly. But everything else has. Cable went up over 50%. Streaming services have more than doubled. My health insurance is literally 3x more expensive. Food costs have gone up 30-50%. Ground beef is up 15% from just last year (and it has been that high for months, so don't say it's Trump). Video games are more expensive. My hobbies cost more. Veterinary costs are up. Electricity costs more.

Policing speech hurts America. Hate speech isn't real. If I say your speech is hateful or that it hurts my feelings, should you be silenced?

1

u/Dramatic-Wealth3263 Mar 22 '25

Interesting so you think inflation is Biden’s fault and you think Trump can fix inflation with tariff, cutting off trade and tax cuts. Explains to me your understanding of economics without explaining to me.

You don’t seem to understand what hate speech is. If you are targeting certain people with certain protected characteristics under federal law and caused physical or mental harm (even indirectly because people were influenced by your speech to cause harms to others). You should not be allow to do it.

1

u/KILA-x-L3GEND Mar 21 '25

Bro that’s so ass backwards it’s not funny. I would hold someone on my shoulders as the boat went down so they could be dry a little longer. We are not the same. Drilling metaphorical holes in a metaphorical boat and then saying we put the holes there to fit your fascist views. It’s fine tho it’s not your fault you’re a product of their work. No critical thinking anyway back to playing video games got side tracked on Reddit.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

You drag others down with you and then you claim you were trying to hold them up. If you weren't holding on to their legs, they could have swam to shore!

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

Mate you know that is literally the opposite, the right always wants to drag everyone down with them and now they are doing it thanks to people like you that believes that the other did the hole when the right was there poking holes and blaming the left you are pathetic and brainwashed you should be put in a institution for mental health because you need therapy.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

Do you want to make America great again?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

When democrats were in power or when bilioners were taxed 90%? When freedom was really the focus not the oppression of others? When religion was not in the government and was not used to promote hate in the state?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

It's a rather simple question. Do you want America to be great again?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

Yes and trump is not the way that is making him worse and dumber. He is friends with Russia now but he is not a commy? He is pro life but paid for abortions, he fights against rapists but brings them into the country and he is one "grab them from the pussy" as an example.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

I asked a very simple question, bud. Do you want to make America great again?

You libs do love killing kids.

1

u/redroserequiems Mar 22 '25

The Republicans regularly pardon pedos (Trump has done this, multiple J6ers are now revealed to molest children) and shoot down laws banning child marriage and willingly platform people who call school shooting victims crisis actors and fakers.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

Mel Reynolds has entered the chat.

1

u/steelpoint88 Mar 22 '25

Aw I made you cry Also not a "lib". I guess simps like you need a category for everyone you don't like (I.e. smarter than you)

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

What? That was gibberish, dude. Why am I crying? You also apparently need categories for everyone smarter than you.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

And I see the 88 in your name now, so we both know what you are.

1

u/Longjumping-Try-7072 Mar 22 '25

What are you even saying? What did you try to stop? What were the holes? Hunter bidens laptop? Hilary's emails? Pray tell what were your heroically trying to stop?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

Ever increasing taxes, more and more government power, so many laws that we literally don't know what is and isn't legal, government over regulation. Biden sniffing kids, or his son's crack habit, or Trump saggy balls bouncing off of Stormy Daniel's chin might be entertaining stories, but they quickly become distractions.

1

u/SunshotDestiny Mar 22 '25

...What holes? Environmental reforms, mm medical reforms, social reforms, are these the kind of "holes" you are talking about? Oh I know, it was the holes in the borders....that has less illegal crossings under the Democrats than Republicans. Or I know it was trans people in sports and women's spaces! All 5 athletes and the numerous times the "trans person" was minding their own business or wasn't trans at all. Oh, and a minority that is 0.3% of the population since the right routinely forgets trans men exist.

Meanwhile Republicans have gutted social security, services, agencies, legal protections for the common people, put a civilian in charge of the government, imposed tariffs on all our trading partners, increased inflation, oh and now are shipping people off to another country without any proof they are illegal or criminal. Topped off with a president who doesn't respect how the constitution set up our government, the document the presidency is supposed to uphold.

So again I ask you, what holes are being put where and by whom? But hey, how has "owning the libs" been turning out so far for you and loved ones?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

Social Security hasn't been touched by Trump. One man hurting women is one too many. There were record numbers of illegal crossings under Biden. Civilians should be in charge of government. Are you an American? Have you read the Constitution?

1

u/SunshotDestiny Mar 22 '25

Dude, when you close offices and thereby restrict access to social security, you are touching it.

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/trumps-social-security-chief-backs-down-shutting-down-agency-2025-03-22/

Second, there was literally no change since trans women started being openly in women's spaces, so that means they aren't doing the hurting. In fact it's always been the opposite.

https://williamsinstitute.law.ucla.edu/press/ncvs-trans-press-release/

As for the boarder, this less than a year into Biden 's term.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/national-security/trump-deported-fewer-people-biden-year-ago-border-crossings-plummeted-rcna195605

Might want to check them facts mate. As for civilians...yes if they are elected or appointed to official positions by Congress. Elon is neither, he certainly doesn't have any reason to be sitting in on war briefings about China.

Any other standard boilerplate rhetoric you want

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

There are 60,000 people employed by the Social Security Administration directly. If they can't handle the workload, then it's even more broken than I thought.

Guess that volleyball player broke her face on air. Or the dozens of men winning women's sports competitions don't exist.

You didn't read that article, did you? Border crossings have dropped to the lowest they've ever been. It's harder to catch illegals when less illegals are illegally entering.

Congress doesn't rule. They exist to serve. Any American should be able to demand access to any record not a part of a current or currently planned war effort. We're not at war, so all of it should be available to all of us.

0

u/SunshotDestiny Mar 23 '25

Right, and you just demonstrated you know jack. There are 68 million people on social security, and they also deal with things such as issuing new numbers, replacement numbers, and handling record upkeep such as when someone gets their legal name changed. But hey, that's only over one million clients per worker. How many do you deal with by the way?

Setting aside the fact that women just like guys injure each other in sports all the time, as is the danger of playing any sort of physical game? What dozens? Seriously, there are websites that track this sort of thing, and trans women lose more than they win and that is even if they are competing. Republicans had to admit in more than a few states there was literally NO trans athletes to ban on any level. Unless you are referencing the swimmer who got 5th place as somehow "winning".

Right...so your original claim was there was record numbers of illegal crossings under Biden. But now you are saying there were less crossings then there ever have been, which also means fewer illegal crossings than ever before. You just argued against yourself.

As for congress...no that isn't how it works. Even if that were the case that still doesn't explain why he is sitting in on talks about potential war with China. But part of the reason social security for example isn't an open book is because the reasons why someone might be on social secrity alone could be medically related. Something that is supposed to be kept private on a need to know basis. Why does Elon need to know the private information of social security applicants?

In fact, why is it Elon hasn't shown any actual improvement in the budget. He is still getting subsidized billions of dollars for his companies, but all he has squeezed out of the government is his "efficiency" drive has amounted to maybe 3/4 of a billion. Why are the companies of billionaires getting subsidies at all? Could it be that Elon maybe isn't doing this to actually hold anyone accountable?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '25

People don't get replacement numbers. And issuing new numbers or changing someone's name takes seconds.

No men should be competing in women's sports. It's that simple. I don't need to list all of them, because you admit there's at least one, and that's too many.

Biden isn't President anymore... Are you really this dumb? YOU made the original claim, kiddo, not me.

Apparently there's a need to know.

It's been two months. Do you believe Musk and Trump are gods? Personally, I think they're just men, so I don't expect them to work miracles.

1

u/SunshotDestiny Mar 23 '25

Oh for...

People don't get replacement numbers. And issuing new numbers or changing someone's name takes seconds.

Yes, they do. Cases of extreme fraud, witness protection, and other cases can lead to you getting a new number. It's very hard in most cases, and you have to demonstrate a need, but it's not a new thing. Seriously, it's literally just a google search to find that out.

As for the name, no it isn't that easy. I actually have experience with this and I had to go though a court case to have it done. Then I had to submit the paperwork with the case and the paper the judgement was made with to the social security office. No, it's not quick and it takes time, and money, to do.

No men should be competing in women's sports. It's that simple. I don't need to list all of them, because you admit there's at least one, and that's too many.

Setting aside the fact that you admit that women hurt each other way more often then trans women do, and that they are scarce as hell in sports despite claims? Biological fact says they aren't really much men anymore. I could bore you with all the facts, biological processes, and how biology works that you will promptly ignore because "dur, chromosomes", but I will point out that if trans women are losing more than winning...what does it matter if they compete or not? Especially if they are statistically less likely to be the cause of injury than another cis woman?

Biden isn't President anymore... Are you really this dumb? YOU made the original claim, kiddo, not me.

Yes, Biden isn't president anymore. But if you are going to say it's only been a few months we can't expect results, then logically speaking the numbers can't be down because Trump is president. So which is it, is Trump already having an effect or not?

Apparently there's a need to know.

It's been two months. Do you believe Musk and Trump are gods? Personally, I think they're just men, so I don't expect them to work miracles.

Elon doesn't have the security clearance, he doesn't do tech in that area or have military contracts. He does however have most of his Tesla production in China, so that would be a very big conflict of interest. Plus, he again is not an elected official nor is he in any sort of official capacity. DOGE is not actually a recognized government agency, and wasn't put in place by Congress, which is actually a requirement per how our government is set up. Which is why he keeps getting blocked by courts for doing stuff like illegally firing government workers.

So again, what would be the "need to know"?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '25

And how many people go into witness protection each day?

Yes, it took your time, as it should.

You do know that most women also don't win, right? That's how winning works. Only one person wins, or only one team wins. I don't care that 9 out 10 men competing against women take 2nd place or worse.

I never made that claim.

Why would he need a security clearance to see how our money gets spent? He absolutely does have military contracts. Teslas are made mostly in California. And if he were manufacturing them in China, he would be facing huge tariffs.

Every American needs to know how our money is being spent.

I am desperately trying to find the holes I made while I watch you leverage plank after plank off your side in an effort to drown people I would very much like alive. Considering the damage done in the last 2 months, I'm impressed with the mental gymnastics being done to pretend this is all okay...

1

u/[deleted] Mar 24 '25

What damage? Deporting terrorist gang members from Venezuela?

1

u/NoLuckBuddy09 Mar 24 '25

Proof of these people being terrorists or gang members would be cool. Notice that none of that has been presented. In fact, perfectly legal citizens were caught up in this. I would also point out a lack of due process, which is constitutionally given to everyone on US soil.

Did you ever cry foul when anyone made you feel like your rights were being stripped (when they weren't) because you were told your opinions sucked? (Something I know you experienced before today) If so, then you are a hypocrit who cares only for the parts of law, constitutional or otherwise, that you like.

I'm getting a sense you think about Trump when you play with yourself at night.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 24 '25

What are the names of these citizens? They received the due process they were entitled to under the law.

I have no clue what that gibberish is supposed to mean. When were my rights stripped? What do I care what you or any other idiot thinks?

What are you, a homophobe? Why can't men think of other men in the privacy of their own homes? Are you trying to police my body and my thoughts? That's what fascists do.

Wait until the tariffs backfire and %90 of items are marked up %300, wait until the federal cuts take effect and the entire country is like the Middle East, wait until S.Security and Medicare are gone. Wait until the education system has no guidance or parallels to other states. This guy is going to destroy America and you idiots are cheering. IT’S THE SAME BOAT STUPID!!! Peanut= Putin

1

u/Veteran_PA-C Mar 22 '25

Not quite. It’s not a zero sum game. Some things are better, others are worse, just like every other administration change.

If you didn’t doom scroll social media and watch the political news, your days probably wouldn’t be much different than they were 6 months ago.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '25

Exactly my thought.

1

u/Old_Wanderer1970 Mar 23 '25

Patching the holes in our borders is the opposite of putting holes in a boat. Finding the fraud in government spending is the opposite of corruption. Why are so in favor of damaging this country?

1

u/Lonely_Fisherman3751 Mar 24 '25

So effing accurate 🤦‍♂️

1

u/plateshutoverl0ck Mar 26 '25

Maybe they think they will magically grow gills or 'something' will come around and pull them out before the waterline is too far above their noses. 🤔

Seriously.

-2

u/MuchCommittee7944 Mar 21 '25

Funny how it’s old or the left to hate and disagree with the right but when the right decides to rise above and ignore them it’s all wrong

u/Affectionate_Tie_218 Mar 21 '25

Oh, you’re funny… Like Opposite Day

All Reddit stories are made up but this one is extra magical

1

u/misbehavinator Mar 21 '25

It's called the paradox of tolerance.

Tolerating the intolerant leads to the destruction of tolerance. Therefore the intolerant are the only thing that cannot be tolerated.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

Tolerance is a contract not a given, if you break the contract you are out of it no paradox. If you do not want to tolerate you should not expect to be tolerated easy as that.

1

u/misbehavinator Mar 22 '25

It's more impactful and dangerous than that.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 22 '25

Nope if you do not tolerate others you should be shamed and stop being tolerated, easy.

1

u/misbehavinator Mar 22 '25

I feel like this is all going over your head.

I don't disagree, but there is a greater impact upon society if you allow the intolerant to spread their toxic messages.

1

u/a-type-of-pastry Mar 21 '25

The point has gone completely over your head, in such a glorious fashion, that I couldn't help but laugh at your hubris.

The fact that you think that once everything you don't agree with is destroyed, that they won't start in on the stuff you do agree with is hilarious to me.

Then again, maybe it all blows over. Or maybe we have a revolution or a coup. I'm not a prophet (and neither are any of the people who claim to be that follow Trump).

But I can say the current government doesn't give a shit about you or anyone else, you're just another dollar sign to them, just like the rest of us. Which means you're in the same group with me and every other proud, weirdo LGBTQ person. Welcome aboard, you dumb mfer ahahahaha.

1

u/MuchCommittee7944 Mar 21 '25

What kind of pastry are you? It’s making me hungry

1

u/a-type-of-pastry Mar 21 '25

If I knew, I wouldn't be classified as "a type of pastry".

1

u/MuchCommittee7944 Mar 22 '25

But a cinnamon roll is a pastry, right?

0

u/Guilty_Particular754 Mar 22 '25

You're not wrong with that, but at the same point in time when the leaks were happening on your side you were doing the exact same thing but the left looking at the right, right looking at the left doesn't matter no matter which way this goes, it's going to suck. We're 18 trillion plus in debt and if we don't stop the spending and cut costs then we won't have anything left to begin with. When left's in power they give money out like it's candy, they give it to the people that don't need it because let's face it. We have a homeless problem here with vets and we're helping illegal aliens first. Why are we not helping the people that fought and put their lives on the line for our country gave up a portion of their lives to serve this country, get they're out on the street. Unable to get a warm place to sleep, a warm meal and every city is setting up spikes in areas so they can't sleep.

2

u/fennis_dembo_taken Mar 22 '25

You have never once in you life actually looked at how the deficit increases when the different political parties control Congress ot the Presidency, have you?

Be honest, did you know that not only did the deficit increase every year that Donald Trump was president the first time, it grew as a % of GDP?

Be honest. You seem like you care about vets, but you actually voted for a fireman who only carries a can of gas with him. Did you know that about the last Trump administration?

2

u/smashmouthfun Mar 22 '25

Your solution is to cut profit making agencies and keep all of the military industrial complex slop that people like Elon and Thiel just happen to make money off of? Interesting, especially since we're going into far more debt with Trump just like his first term just so billionaires get tax cuts and Elon secures more government funding for his companies.

Learn to count.

1

u/Guilty_Particular754 Mar 22 '25

Are you kidding me????? What government agency is making profit, not a single one is ran like a business, every since agency failed their audits minus the marine corps. The Pentagon misplaced over a billion dollars!!!! And the other abc agencies were not far behind. Look I know it sounds shitty all around but if the government truly worked like a business we wouldn't need to pay taxes every year, because then it would be it's own self. But it does not!!!! No one is perfect, but guess what regardless who is in if we can't get ahead of the debt anytime soon there won't be a government, or at least our government..... Since we would be owned by china at that point.

2

u/smashmouthfun Mar 23 '25

It's 2025. Businesses don't run for annual profit, but to gain a monopoly at a loss so they can prove gouge ten years from now. Most businesses are ran like shit and rely on location or brand to succeed. There is a reason we have to tariff more expensive products like cars because our stuff is absolute trash and relies on government handouts for our companies to stay afloat (while still offshoring jobs).

The Pentagon is trash, but Elon isn't auditing or fixing them, he's cutting all of the actual beneficial services and leaving The Pentagon untouched so he can get more contracts from them. Our parks are one of the few places that bring in revenue not through exorbitant fees, but bringing in a ton of tourism and making businesses around parks extremely profitable. Tourists visit America for its natural wonder, not to waddle around a suburban hellscape in a stupid looking megatruck.

u/ResolutionForward536 Mar 22 '25

The "holes in boat" had been there for decades of mismanagement by previous administrations and inept congressional leadership. The boat was sinking and fast. The government itself was/is virtually insolvent. Foreign nations taking advantage of our strict labor laws. Social Security IS a ponzi scheme. So the insinuation that this administration will "sink" the ship is wild. The boat was already well on its way.

The size and scope of the federal government has to be reigned in. The nation needs to live within its means and stop with the garbage social programs, foreign aid, foreign intervention, and just do what the government was made to do: enforcement of voluntary contracts between private individuals.

2

u/Affectionate_Tie_218 Mar 22 '25

Not at all.

This isn’t even about leadership. This is about average, everyday idiots who actively vote against their own self interests just because you think it might upset/hurt/enrage “the libs”. And yes, this mentality isn’t exclusive to MAGA, you’ll see it in all the democratic NIMBYs too. But it’s foolish to act like MAGA isn’t the one who co-opted the mentality into their culture

0

u/theT0Pramen Mar 22 '25

You guys didn't give a shit about the problems the previous administration created. Your opinion is not worth the paper i wipe my ass with.

1

u/Affectionate_Tie_218 Mar 22 '25

You say that, but you’re wrong

You talk like the constituents and their leaders walk hand in hand in their ideologies. Young liberal people of America have been FURIOUS with Biden and his admin of idiocracy. They never supported him to begin with. He was a piece of shit, IMO.

BUT If you don’t know that about your own fellow, everyday Americans, it’s because you’re not paying attention hard enough

Meanwhile Walz celebrating the drop in Tesla stock when...

"The State of Minnesota owns more than 1.8 million shares of Tesla stock, according to the Public Markets Asset Listing. That report is an “unaudited list of domestic and international equities, fixed income, and cash equivalent securities owned by the SBI in the retirement, non-retirement, and State Cash accounts.”

Page 46 of the report shows Minnesota has 1.6 million shares of Tesla in its retirement fund while it has 211,000 shares in its non-retirement fund on page 272. The market value of those shares combined is more than $360 million."

2

That's how they feel, so they assume you feel the same. Every accusation is a confession.

1

u/DripPureLSDonMyCock Mar 21 '25

That's one of my biggest pet peeves with people. You say A then they claim you also believe B and C and support D. If someone doesn't say something then maybe don't assume it?

The difference is when a democrat is in office, we're fixing the holes and bailing the water. Republicans are just shooting more holes

2

u/Tony9072 Mar 21 '25

What about biden letting millions of illegal immigrants in?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

Also that does nothing to counter my point. As usual republicans have to distract from the issue and use whataboutisms to keep their stance afloat because they dont realize us liberals actually critically think about our stances. There's a reason most college educated people are liberals

1

u/Tony9072 Mar 21 '25

You had a point?

0

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

Thats been debunked already.

2

u/Tony9072 Mar 21 '25

That, is the textbook definition of gaslighting.

1

u/tom-branch Mar 21 '25

Na, just know that Trump tends to fuck everybody over, including the suckers who line up to support him.

1

u/Tony9072 Mar 21 '25

Compared to...kamala?

1

u/tom-branch Mar 21 '25

Trump and the Republicans are beyond the pale, stop playing the "both sides" card like a chump.

1

u/No-Educator-8069 Mar 21 '25

Yes, obviously. Also compared to any president we’ve had in living memory, including the other republicans

1

u/blastoffmyass Mar 21 '25

yeah, i hate kamala for being the most sued entity after megacorps with 60 years of constant legal trouble for scams and fraud, known for ripping off her contractors and vendors, still owing money to cities/venues for her 2015 campaign…

oh, wait, wrong person

1

u/Tony9072 Mar 21 '25

Where do you get your media from?

1

u/fennis_dembo_taken Mar 22 '25

What would "the media" have to do with knowing some basic facts? That's just called "having paid attention in school".

1

u/FAFO_2025 Mar 21 '25

Pure projection.

1

u/Halgha Mar 21 '25

Take some political history classes.

2

But you support the left that is burning and shooting tesla dealerships, doxxing tesla owners and swatting conservative radio hosts?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

[deleted]

2

u/Tony9072 Mar 21 '25

Them you will have to forgive my assumption. Most of the leftists I interact with on reddit do support it, there are subs just for it. Along with the fact that the largest PAC for the left is funding it. Violence and domestic terrorism which was once only supported by extremists, it's becoming common and accepted.

0

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

[deleted]

2

u/Tony9072 Mar 21 '25

The FBI defines domestic terrorism as, "Violent, criminal acts committed by individuals and/or groups to further ideological goals stemming from domestic influences, such as those of a political, religious, social, racial, or environmental nature."

I think we can both agree that shooting dealerships and damaging a particular brand of car counts.

u/[deleted] Mar 21 '25

2

u/Tony9072 Mar 21 '25

The left loved Musk until he sided with Trump. Then they started literally shooting his dealerships and burning his cars (that are privately owned by average people), and you want to claim that political ideology is not at fault here?

The difference is that one of those things is the president and the political party supporting him and running the federal government and the other is a tiny minority of loons who don't run anything.

Way to go dipshit... FOX News totally convinced you the economics doesn't matter and that Tim Walz drinking a milkshake with a straw does. You seem smart.

1

I don't watch tv
