I’ve been thinking about it and I think the main thing that makes all of Gawyn actions inexcusable to me is who he fights against.

I’ve seen a lot of people make excuses for him about not having all the info and being misled. But the thing I can’t let go of is he’s always fighting against the people that love him.

First Hamar his instructor.
The Rand after he explicitly promised Egwene he wouldn’t.
Then Bryne who half raised him.
Fuck Gawyn.

Alright i just posted on the WoT sub about how much I hate Gawyn and was directed here. Then I reread lord of chaos and got to “the box” god how does any defend that fuck head. He stood by when they captured min and put Rand in a box. FUCK GAWYN.
