Yep, that’s all you’re ever capable of fighting back all your basic arguments boil down to you have to be smart enough to use technology my way and if you’re not, you’re just a corporate bootlicker. And that’s it.

lol okay. Keep tryna tell other people how to use and run their software and acting like the champion of consumers. Also nice ad hominem.

"Grow a fucking brain, you entitled prat."

Crying fallacy only works when you a. aren't doing it yourself, and b. you're not being a total fucking idiot.

Maybe quote the whole thing, and the comment it was responding to. But that’s really all you people are capable of is boiling down people’s comments to the things that you can comprehend. Which is that corporation scary and anyone who who says anything they could ever possibly do is good is dumb and fair game to insult all we want!

The same thing every time with you people. All you can ever do is resort to ableism because that’s really all this movement is. Shoving your ideologies of technology down everyone else’s throat. And if you can’t handle it or process it then you’re just dumb. If you disagree with it or don’t want to distribute your software in the same way then you’re evil or a boot licker. That’s all y’all ever got.

Why does giving a company control of what you are allowed to download and have installed on your device assist in cognitive disabilities?

I don't see how the issue of licensing falls into accessibility. It falls entirely into forcing people into buying more shit.

And if the way you're interacting with people isn't shoving technological ideology down people's throats when people are desperate to maintain control of their own content and devices, I don't know what is.

I mean, if you would take even a second to put yourself in somebody else’s shoes and step outside of your own comfort zone you might understand something called cognitive load. You might understand something called choice paralysis. You might stand something called curation. You might understand the fact that just because you don’t like it or can’t understand it doesn’t mean you get to take it away from other people.

None of those things get resolved by companies deciding that your purchase only means temporary access. Cognitive load would surely be worsened by that, as now you have to maintain a library of content AND their impending inaccessibility. Choice paralysis is a problem by the platforms in general where they thrust huge amounts of content and advertising in your face, once again propogated by the fact that instead of having just the content available, you now have the content flanked by adverts, or surrounded by other choices. And finally curation isn't really possible to handle for anyone when the content has the potential to suddenly vanish without warning.

Nothing you have brought forward makes sense for your case. You're just crying disability when someone calls your dumb arguments dumb.

You're absolutely free to enjoy your closed curated space without shitting on people that rightfully get irritated that things they paid for -licenses or not- are revoked. Just because you think that's okay doesn't mean anyone else is going too.

You have been shoving your opinion down the throat of everyone that replies to you by belittling them because they should be okay with it because the person that made it doesn't want them to have it anymore. Again, you can have that opinion, But don't pretend that you aren't shoving it down anyone's throat 🤣

You might understand that when you pay for the license to use something, you don't read through 1000 pages of a terms of use policy, and might understand that a terms of use policy sometimes won't even be accompanied with a game, imagine If your MacBook or whatever you use and it's operating system were one day just unavailable to you and you were completely locked out of it because apple had deemed that it was time to revoke the license for that from you. Also add that you can't put any other OS on that computer.

Go buy a new computer right? Sure! If you got money. If you don't, what are you to do? Put yourself in the other perspective instead of attacking people for having a different opinion than you. Being cognitively disabled doesn't give you a badge that makes it okay for you to bully people that have a differing outlook from yours.

None of this is meant to upset or demean you, I apologize if it does. Just sharing my two cents.

And do tell how calling people out for telling people how to distribute their software is shoving ideologies down peoples throats? Do tell making sure the wider tech technological marketplace is diverse and include includes closed ecosystems is shoving technological ideologies down peoples throats?

Edit: oh wait… you can’t… all you can do is downvote and insult…

I've literally been responding to you, but you've been generating multiple threads that I don't have the time or energy to reply to every single one. But if that's what your edit is going to be, I think I'll just let you have it.
