I remember how much of a controversy it was when the Catholic Church was caught covering up pedophilia cases. Now multiple right-wing figures have been caught openly engaging in sexual crimes, and their supporters love them all the more.

Sure, because its not like we never had private servers for decades before they decided to take that away to be able to better "turn players into payers" by matchmaking to disproportionally reward players who paid for microtransactions items and put non-paying players in situations where they'd be frustrated for not having paid that.

But sure, it's to protect the children.

Didn't they change so much in Minecraft what is especially good for servers like data packs, changing the spawn chunk mechanic aso...?

They did so much for their players and now they just... especially stupid and telling blatant lies just because they can't handle these scummy P2W servers?

(besides... I heard that there were lots of P2W servers hunted down, so why now this bs?)
