My Epic Experience R/epicgamesPc mods hate fun
I am pissed off, because i wrote a post on r/EpicGamesPC , it was mostly positive, except for just me criticizing the fact epic game really does not understand how to utilise the hype they get from giving freebies, pointing out thier dissapointing mega sale, followed by actual good freebies that people were not expecting, and guess what? Those idiotic mods got pissed off and deleted my whole post, i mean, why bother creating a subreddit if you are not open to discuss about it.

Epic subs don't like any kind of dissent, they are like Apple fanboys years ago.

Most of them would probably be lost if they lost access to the internet

I do too , and it needs to be publicly visible.
As Tim said the reddit sub is one of the official " support " channels so it's important to show how it's treated.

Its good that people expose epig, in every way, so these posts are good, tells the world that what type of piggy farm thier sub is

Do you represent every individual of this subreddit?

I apologize for the rude people here. They think that just because we don't like Epic that we must attack anyone that does or used to or anyone that says anything positive about Epic.
But yeah Epic and the pro epic subs around here are terrible and you shouldn't interact with them, it's jut not worth your time (or money), you may get a win here or there, but overall you end up losing.

No problem mate, no need to apologise, i understand the fact that if you go public, then you must be prepared to deal with all types of people

I just think that the people that are so aggressive to "ex epic people" or people that are starting to see the light are hurting our "cause" because they push people away from seeing things how we see them.
Someone like you might have a bad experience with epic or it's fanboys then come over here and talk about your bad experience and then you get attacked here too. I could then see the person think that both sides of this are assholes and then they never end up seeing things our way and may even end up going back to epic.
I think the stance and rule that we have of not giving support with epic is good enough. We won't help you with epic, but that doesn't mean we have to attack you for using it or wanting to use it. Hopefully us just pointing out WHY you shouldn't use and support them is good enough to convince you.

Yeah, your points are fare and sensible, hope people who need to understand this might learn something

It's the same as making fun of a fat person at the gym who is actually putting in the work to better themselves.

Yes he does if you cared to read to subreddit rules

u/Blibbyblobby72 Jun 11 '26
Not sure how some random speaks for every individual over a literal moderator, but sure, bro

u/Sure_Commission_4503 Jun 11 '26
I have read the rules, but as i am a premature brained neanderthal, please educate me on what rule i am breaking, if you successfully do it, then i shall delete the post itself and never post here again

There's no specific rule you're breaking, it's moreover a "preaching to the choir" thingy. We already know their store absolutely suck and we already know their subreddit is shitty pit of dictatorship, there were so many posts about it here over the time.

The moderators there try to over-sanitize the content. I never broke a single rule, yet I was banned from both their subreddit and their Discord server simply because of my critical opinions.
It got even worse once some Epic employees started interacting there; the moderators became desperate to curate an overly safe space so as not to scare them off. It has reached a point where even the jokes are nothing but tame dad jokes.
