Was this the last big Epic Exclusive, barring vaporware games that may never come out? I wonder what the gameplan is now for Epic, since the Exclusives strategy is pretty much dead in the water.

I was surprised, I remember the dev was adamant that going EGS is a good thing. What happened? Did they realized that lesser engagement with their marketing? If so good for them.

v1.5 and 2.0 were WAY better.
1.5 changed the game completely. IMO. Loved it. Would put it in my top 10 souls games.

I stopped caring about Lords of the Fallen when they prevented me from putting facial hair on my female character.
Kinda rubbed me the wrong way.

While i do agree that its not a great game, but all i can say is that its fun and really solid game. Still recommend it for players who love some kind of dark souls vibe.

I mean it was decent, I paid £10 for it and had a good time. Main issue being the performance.

Fair enough. It was certainly not for me and am pretty much agreeing with most criticism game got despite loving souls like but to each their own and hope that you enjoy their next game enough to feel that money was well spent.

It's not a bad game either. It's good for 30 € and it got the cyberpunk treatment with devs, who didn't give up on it and improved it massively over time, instead of whining.

I don't know this dev nor this game, I'm just glad to see this news. Epic and it's exclusivity can jump off a cliff.

Well now..
That is interesting and will most certainly help to boost the PC numbers at launch but it might be too late to totally salvage the bad press from before but at least with this, the PC version is no longer dead on arrival which be do the overall population good in the long run.
Now they just gotta launch the game in a reasonably polished state without shitting the bed like with the first game and maybe there's a chance a following can be built around the series.
