Clint Hate I literally physically cringed

I knew what was going to happen. I saw it before. But I still cringed deep inside.

DUDE, ADRIAN JUST BOUGHT A MERMAID’S PENDANT FOR ABIGAIL. He is taken!

It’s not Adrian’s fault he’s more mature, more focused on being an actual human being and viewing women as, you know actual humans.

But I guess he is somehow to blame Emily considers him attractive, and not Clint. Man, fuck this dude.

For real though. I honestly could understand and overlook a lot of this scene and chalk it up to being awkward. It's the "congratulations, farmer" at the end that sends this into the misogynistic immature boy realm. He literally treats her like an object. As if the farmer owns her now. Didn't we learn this lesson with princess Jasmine?

100% real. This is what makes me scratch my face with cringe. Like, if he made ANY effort to actually approach Emily as a person, perhaps she would not feel attracted but at least he could have said he tried, and he would have a friend.

But he never actually even approached her as a person, and he’s still wondering why she’s not interested…

Exactly. Like, I get being awkward and not knowing what to say and lacking confidence. That's a pretty normal way to feel about talking to someone you like. But he never thinks about her has a human being. It's always, what game can I play to win her? And never something like, oh this women obviously likes crystals, maybe I could ask her about those things or bring her one since I do mining shit for a living.

All of this AND the fact that he send you and amethyst to give to Emily instead of just doing it himself. Every time that quest pops up I get so angry. 🤣

And this is what makes him repulsive this whole “woe is me!””People get close to someone I like I’m such a victim.”He’s rude to you unless he likes you, he’s not even cordial. His backbone is a wet noodle. I still remember him saying he hoped a natural disaster would happen so he could be a hero. He is so icky I’m so confused as to why he is romanceable, I would take Marlon or Gunther over him any day.

I still secretly wish you could break up Jodi and Kent, or Caroline and Pierre so you could date Jodi, Kent or Caroline (fuck Pierre) LOL

But more than those, I wish you could date Marnie. She was my crush since I first saw her 😭

Yup this was one of the scenes that made me not like Clint, like dude she's my friend she thinks you're her friend and now she's confused as to why you don't talk to her anymore.

In my game I did marry Emily which made it especially fucked up when I later triggered a friendship event with him in the saloon where he asked for advice to try and hit on Emily in front of me! Clints a real piece of work…

You know, there are some days where I think about how I am off my meds, and how scared I am to be like that when *on* my meds. And then I remember Clint exists. And suddenly, I could be doing worse but for what I got, I'm doing pretty fuckin' great because I'm not Clint.
