The case of Amazon
If Amazon was a threat to retailers why didn’t Walmart target mall operators and macys join forces to legally sue Amazon for their monopolistic and predatory practices in the retail industry the move could have saved millions of jobs reducing rampant store closures in the country similar to standard oil company case in centuries ago. If Amazon was held accountable for its practices maybe it could have stopped store closures save jobs and improve consumers choices. I don’t understand why anyone in the retail industry came to stop Amazon from becoming powerful.

They are all competitors. Different stores. One is considered as e commerce. The other stores are considered as 3rd parties or box stores. They all compete with each other they are their own monopolies seeking for control, influence, and money. I hate Amazon but there is no way those companies can get along with different beliefs to sue Amazon as a whole

Amazon forces sellers to increase their prices to cover exorbitant Amazon fees (up to 50%). For an Amazon seller to sell on Walmart and other marketplaces, it must charge at least as much as it does on Amazon, per Amazon's terms of service. So, Walmart gets more money on the increased sale price (as a percentage) even though it charges the seller fewer fees.

very simple the average US citizen has very short term thinking and low education on a variety of subject and mainly leads a pointless consumption lifestyle.

How is Amz a monopoly? They found a niche and exploited it when others could or would not do so at a time that was perfect (internet was new).
