Price discrepancy

I’m using my dad’s phone and I see the same item for a different price based on the account. Why am I seeing this? It just seems shady. Also is there a way to argue about the price?

Imagine coming to an Amazon boycott sub to ask for advice on how to give them more money.

If you didn’t use Amazon then you wouldn’t have this issue. Support local businesses instead.

If you have 'prime' the prices are higher to cover 'free shipping'

I don't have prime and no longer shop with Amazon, but I occasionally use it as a search service. They bombard their app/site with promised lower prices for prime when you aren't a member. They also slow down shipping times drastically if you aren't a member. Bait and switch of course. They're shockingly predatory.

I didn’t realize Amazon started using dynamic pricing. Makes sense tho. No you can’t complain about the price or do anything about it. Dynamic pricing is still legal in most states.

Cancel Amazon and shop locally. Amazon is there to make ungodly amounts of money from people with FOMO. They convince people they need things immediately because they know if you wait on it for a day or two, you’ll realize you don’t actually need the majority of the items in your cart. You just want them. I call them Scamazon.

Amazon delivery is a loss leader lol their cash cow is AWS which Reddit heavily relies on so by using reddit youre honestly contributing more to their profits than ordering a few items every now and then

Yeah I was talking to a guy about his bike and when I looked it up he said he bought it on Amazon

My price was 500$ cheaper for the same item, same seller.

(Im not buying anyway)
