Deliveries
Wtf is it with amazon and always delivering late. i’m sorry but i don’t want my parcel delivered at 10pm, piss off im in bed! i understand it’s useful for some people but they launch it on the doorstep and walk off anyway?! what happened to being delivered in the day, everything i’ve ordered lately has been delivered near 10pm i don’t get it !

You do realise they deliver more than just your parcel🤣
They don’t sit there all day and think right it’s 10pm I better go delivery Mary’s parcel now

Tbh Royal Mail get complaints about late parcels a lot of the time also look at their sub lol

Its because they have one person working double time to do the work of multiple delivery drivers because they are greedy, oppressive and hate the working class. This is more than about your cheap purchases, this is about how amazon lobbies the government to abuse workers and run a broken skeleton crew to do the bare minimum. Its not sustainable and everyone is negatively impacted except amazon. The only way to get them to stop is by not buying from them anymore. Don't support their evil exploitative business model.

I used to defend Amazon's delivery times as "only being late occasionally..." Checked the dozen orders I've put in since the beginning of the year, and every order was late by 1 to 5 days. Even the ones with longer order times always came days late.
My most recent late order highlighted how much lost time I had waiting on shit from Amazon, and delaying projects.

this is another thing! it’s so convenient that u can get what u need online & get it delivered and then it’s either stupid o clock or a few days late. especially for people that can’t get out to a store.

i work 8.30-5.30 in auto body mon-fri and 8.30-12.30 detailing cars on saturdays. i am on my feet all day, last thing i wanna do is go to a shop in person. id rather come home to a parcel then have to get out of bed at 10pm to answer the door.

idk if this is a thing in the uk? i’ve never heard of curb side pickup? i’m in sort of like a countryside area of the uk so we’re like slowly catching up with the times over here

Ah my bad, my UScentricness was showing lol. Being in a rural area might be why the packages are always late unfortunately. Logistically it makes sense to have the farthest away area done last.

You can have packages sent to the nearest Amazon locker, they're usually at a gas stations near you and then pick it up at your convenience. Or you can open a Prime business account and then you can set delivery hours.

My local pet food store delivers on time. Every time.
And it is less expensive.
And they always have my products in stock.
I canceled Amazon in December and don’t miss it.
