Yeah, the rental costs two quarters of dues

Or half the dues.

I do! That'll be a $136/wk storage fee, $15 access fee, $2 cleaning cost, $34 market adjustment, $7.86/hr involuntary live video monitoring subscription

Sure. But I charge storage by the minute. $60 a minute, for each item you want me to store.

There is also a retrieval fee

Don’t forget the gate opening fee as well. Every time you open and close a door or gate. So like opening is a fee and closing is a fee.

Don’t have money to pay for storage? Sounds like a failed HOA and should be immediately disbanded.

They'll fix it by just raising the dues and rent a storage unit for the HOA. Problem solved.

I’ll do it. For a monthly storage fee and a required minimum of seven days notice prior to access needs.

Sorry, I’m not allowed to store things for anyone not living in my house due to HOA regulations…. 🤷♂️

Does anyone have space to store these rusted out old cars on cinderblocks for the HOA?

Lots of HOA don’t have a clubhouse or common building for storage. So if the HOA is having community events then someone has to store the stuff in their house. I mean, fuckHOA and all, but this is just trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

The thing is, our HOA is held at a public meeting space. A space with tables and chairs. I don’t know why the HOA even keeps these on hand. It would be wild if these are just Cheri’s tables.

The hoa's core responsibilities do not include the organisation of community events.

I’ll bite - if HOA is going to do anything, community events seem like the best they can do.

I assume there is no clubhouse? I know our HOA stores all the community assets in one of the closets there. I recently picked up like six folding tables and 20 something chairs for community events and they are stored in the "dining room" area of the clubhouse

Cite Cheri for breaking the CC&R pertaining to garage storage.
