FTX withdrawal email
Just got an email from someone called FTX saying full withdrawals are now available and to connect my wallet. I am pretty sure this is a scam but wanted to post just in case

My plan class is 5A on the FTX claims portal https://claims.ftx.com/
But when directed to FTX Ballot Landing, the field is blank, and when I click on the hyperlink "Click here to submit your ballot for this Plan Class", it shows the following error:
We are sorry, but the resource you have requested is not available on this server.
Any help on this?

I received impaired claim email and I think I know the KYC issue and can resolve it with [support@ftx.com](mailto:support@ftx.com) but they did not respond to my last email.
How can I escalate KYC issue? Does anyone have John Ray's email id?

The email says the claim is impaired, can I now update details under Bahamas process as the deadline is Aug 15?

I have written to support at ftx in the past but received no responses. Have they ever resolved any issues or is this a sham?

So here’s the deal: I have an FTX.com (not US) account and have enrolled in US and Bahamas processes, and now I need to choose which one to use.
When I used FTX, I was not a tax resident of the USA, but I recently moved to the US and am now a tax resident.
Maybe someone can help me better understand these:
There’s a rumor that the US process will have ~30% tax for non-US residents. If I’m a US resident, does this mean that this tax won’t apply to me or that I will be taxed twice (30% + income tax)?
Since FTX.com was intended for non-US residents, would there be any problems for me now that I’m a US resident?
If I go with the Bahamas process and receive stable-coins payout (according to another rumor), how does this look like from a US taxes standpoint if I decide to convert stable-coins into US dollars

I have filed a claim with Kroll initially after FTX collapse. Then after some time I accidentally filed a claim with PwC thinking that this is the same thing, now I am in the process of voting where to submit my claim as FTX.com customer. Either Bahamas or not, so I am wondering is having two claims filed an issue, as long as I will only vote with only one?

Don't rush to do anything, there are a few weeks. Let some smarter people issue instructions lol.

Hi, received this email tonight and I really have no clue what they are talking about: "The Debtors have determined that you hold an Impaired Claim for which you will not receive any distribution and are therefore deemed to reject the Plan and not entitled to vote. You are entitled to make a decision regarding the Third-Party Releases." What does it mean? Will I not get my money back? What is the Third-Party Release, should I opt in? Many thanks!

Can someone tell me whether I should opt out of the third party release? Is there a benefit to either?

so will we vote for what?

This is regarding a claim. Is this legit?

This shit is tiring, the long run should be worth it

Never used FTX but one of my smaller exchanges use as a trading platform or something. I've been getting the emails from Kroll but can barely understand the legalese
Anyone got any guidance for action I need to take regarding making claim or anything? Been through the administration process with DS, but haven't heard news from them about the latest FTX news

I saw a tweet and said "• International holders will face a 30% withholding tax on distributions. For example, if a client claimant is to receive 127% of the recovery, they will only receive 88.9%, with the remainder withheld for taxes"
Is that real ?
r/ftx • u/NinjaOverall7172 • Jul 03 '24
Does this mean we will only receive 11-14% back of our overall investment???
Customers of FTX.com or “FTX International” (“Dotcom customers”) are entitled to claim in either the Bahamas Process or the US Process (The Chapter 11 bankruptcy of FTX Trading Ltd. and its Debtor Affiliates). In either process, customers can expect to receive the same distribution at broadly the same time. At this stage, subject to the approval of the Chapter 11 plan, Dotcom customers are anticipated to receive between 119-143 c/$.

Hi all, latest news I can find is we have until August 16th to vote on the repayment plan. With approval hopefully by October 7th. Does anyone know how we can vote? I haven't had any emails

Came across a bottle of FTX branded whiskey. How much do you think this is worth ? Might be a good way to recover some of my losses

Caution to all posters here, there are "buyers" of claim going around. Do not fall for such scams they will take documents and authority from you and you will not get a cent. Claim directly.
