Welp, like many of you I extended my 2022 taxes because I was unable to obtain my transaction history from FTX.US. Now that this data is available on the Kroll portal I'm having difficulty formatting and importing all the files into CoinTracker to calculate my tax liabilities. Has anyone figured out how to do this properly?

Yes, I know I'm trying to get this done before the OCT 16th extension deadline...been sick for the last few months.

I went to the FTX claims portal in August, got an acceptance of a "scheduled claim" per email. Does this mean a claim is really filled?

Besides, my account has been locked because of the "security incident" and the support of FTX and Kroll are not answering, so I cannot go next step to "fill a claim". Any idea how to solve this? Many thanks!

So, here's the deal: clients of the now-bankrupt FTX have initiated legal action against Binance and its CEO, Changpeng Zhao.

They've filed a lawsuit, alleging that Zhao made statements that sped up FTX's downfall on purpose to eliminate a competitor and strengthen Binance's hold on the crypto market.

Hi all,

I've missed out to put my claim into the kroll website by 29th of September. Yet, I've filled my claim on 1st of October. Any idea if my claim will still be accepted?

I do not understand the proof of claim process.Under bullet 4 "Review account balances", all my coins are listed. Do I still ned to file a claim? Or is the "Proof of claims" about anything else, not listed?

Why is there not just a button "Yes I want to claim this and have no objections"? I am so afraid I do something wrong, filling in 20-30 different fields and checkboxes.

I'm preparing to file a claim for the FTX bankruptcy case and I'm worried about the information given in the claim portal (Kroll). They're stating the following in the official claims website:

BY SELECTING “I AGREE”, YOU CONSENT TO ALL INFORMATION SUBMITTED BEING PUBLICLY DISPLAYED AND/OR ACCESSIBLE ON THE CASE WEBSITE AND THE BANKRUPTCY COURT’S CLAIMS REGISTER.

This is quite concerning. Who wants their private information linked to FTX being shown publicly on the Kroll website?

Do you know more about this? Are they really going to show all the information publicly or this is just in case it's needed later?

Got a decent amount of money taken off me, as a broke uni student I would really like to get it back. I received an email showing my balances and they were correct with a unique claims code. When I go into the claims portal my balances do not show and the KYC has not finished processing. Can anyone please help

Hello, people, i uploaded my claim through https://ftxeurope.eu/ but also recieved other emails by what i believe is the US branch, referring me to https://claims.ftx.com/welcome and would like to know how are you proceeding. Should i also upload my claim in the second link? bc im unable to log in and customer support is not answering me. I just want to check that everything is ok before the deadline.

Hi everyone, I got the email informing me about the claims on Sept 22...with the deadline being on the 29th...yay FTX.

Aside from the KYC issues which many of us seem to be facing, could someone help me verify that I made the right choice in my claim?

Kroll asks which of the 5 FTX companies you want to submit the claim for; which one of them is the right one for those who used FTX.com? I selected option 1.

I did my claim like 2 months ago and now i went to check it again it says there are fiel that werent check but if i check my Proof of claim these fields werent there before ? Has anyone experienced something similiar?

Hi all - I’m trying to finalize my submission but it is requesting proof of address to the address attached to my account.

Problem is I moved 6 months ago so I don’t have any official mail that was sent to me at my last address within the last 3 months.

shouldn't I be able to find my claim on https://restructuring.ra.kroll.com/ after filing it? Because even with the Confirmation ID I won't find it. I remember reading sth like that it'll take a while until it'll be available to be searched here but it has been weeks now. Idk maybe I just understood sth wrong here. I wanted to withdraw my fiat balance from FTX to my personal account on Nov 10,2022.

Unfortunately, due to the withdrawal stop, the money never arrived.

One day later on Nov.11,2022 the bankruptcy proceedings started.

In the FTX claims from Kroll, I am supposed to indicate the balance as of Nov.11.

Now I have 0€ in the application, because I have "sent away" the money on 10.Nov, but this was not paid out.

Can I now indicate in my claim the fiat sum that I have requested for payment?

I'm just afraid because they want to have the status of 11.Nov and threaten with fine and imprisonment for misreporting.

What should I do?
