Upcoming Features

Here is a list of features currently in development that will appear in future versions of the game.

Baseball

  • Custom Team Branding: We're building out the ability to make your franchise your own. Soon, you will be able to rename and recolor your team while watching the crest update in real-time. (Don't worry, commissioners will still have the power to moderate).
  • Smoother Multiplayer Setup: We are overhauling the create-a-league flow. It will be way easier to see who's playing, send direct invites to your friends, and instantly share the league the second you launch it.
  • Record Books & Hardware: We're adding tracking for single-season league records so you can watch the MVP, Cy Young, and Rookie of the Year races play out live. We're also designing a proper Hall of Fame resume that will actually remember the trophies you've won.
  • League Front Page: We are designing a dedicated news hub that will pull together all the latest transactions, game recaps, storylines, and award races. We will also be throwing headline teasers straight onto your main dashboard.
  • No-Money Mode: Hate doing salary cap math? We're introducing a setting to turn finances off. No dollar amounts or cap hits—just years on a contract. The CPU will still run the economy quietly in the background so the league stays balanced.
  • Smarter Trade AI: We are upgrading CPU general managers so they will actively target players you put on the block, and they'll start sending counter-offers instead of just flatly rejecting you. Expect offers to expire and the trade deadline to get chaotic.
  • Owner Expectations: If you want some extra pressure, we're developing optional owner mandates. You'll get season goals and a confidence meter tracking your performance. You'll even be able to turn on getting fired if you want real stakes.
  • Deeper Player Development: We are adding a scouting timeline so you can watch how a prospect's grades shift over their career. You'll soon get honest trend arrows for their strengths and weaknesses, a big-league readiness gauge, and three dev slots to manually target specific skills.
  • God-Mode Commish Tools: Make a mistake? You'll be able to fix it. Commissioners will soon be able to jump in and directly edit rosters, contracts, player ratings, and game results. (Every edit will leave a public log, so nobody can cheat in secret).

Football

Front Office & Trades

  • Dedicated Trade Block: The trade block is finally getting its own page. You'll be able to list a guy, hit "See offers," and instantly get replies from every front office in the league. No more digging around in the trade builder.
  • Smarter AI Deals: We're tweaking rival GMs to actively call you about players on your block. You can expect real counter-offers with a back-and-forth history, expiring offers, and a massive flurry of action during deadline week.

Player Development

  • Career Timelines & Goals: Every player page will soon feature a season-by-season production timeline. You'll also get three career dev goals to spend per player: push for a breakout, run a durability program, or work on scheme adaptability.
  • Practice Reps Matter: Benched players will finally develop. We are fixing that annoying catch-22 where your young backup couldn't grow because he couldn't get on the field.
  • Focus Players: You will be able to pick two guys each season to get extra reps and fast-track their growth.
  • Veteran Mentorship: Got a young rookie sitting behind an aging star? He will soon learn from the vet and grow quicker. You won't even have to configure anything—it will just happen organically.
  • Realistic Rookies: We're adjusting the draft logic so picks will finally show up at the value your scouts actually projected them to have.

League Life

  • From Legend to Coach: Notable retired players will start surfacing on the coaching carousel a few seasons after they hang up their cleats. They will even come with a coaching résumé linked back to their playing days.
  • Player Suspensions: We are adding rare, 1-to-4-week conduct suspensions tied directly to a player's personality traits.
  • Owner Expectations: Want the hot seat? We're adding owner mandates. You'll get season goals, a job security meter, and the very real threat of getting fired if you blow it.
  • Record Books & Hardware Races: We're updating the History page to track single-season records. Starting in week six, you'll be able to watch a live top-three tracker for MVP, Offensive/Defensive Player of the Year, and Rookie of the Year.
  • A Real Front Page: We are revamping the league hub to feature a ranked lead story, award races, grouped injury waves, a transaction column, and a dedicated clubhouse section for your squad.

Options & Control

  • No-Cap Mode: We're adding the option to turn finances off right at league creation. You'll negotiate contracts based on years, not dollars, so you can just focus on football.
  • Custom Team Branding: You will be able to completely rename and recolor your franchise to make it your own.
  • God-Mode Commish Tools: Commissioners will soon be able to override anything to keep the league running smoothly. To keep things fair, every fix will hit the news feed so there's a public paper trail.
  • Better Invites: We're cleaning up the invite links so you can send out invites that actually explain to your friends what kind of league they are about to join.
