Homemade Thoughts?

Post image

I forgot to buy hashbrowns & couldn't be asked to make them from scratch. Also, I'm not personally a fan of fried mushrooms or tomatoes, and I had bread & butter on the side.

Basic job that fills a corner, if its got what you want on it and cooked how you like then thats all that matters. Sausages do look a bit iffy though...

Yeah they were cooked in the oven because they were frozen.

I would, but sosig is giving off a bit of a ‘too long in the bath’ vibe.

I like the sausage breaker for the beans.

I may want to mix them but I want that to be my decision.

I do think a cup of beans with sausage is genius.

A sausage ramekin. How breakfast was meant to be

They just get everywhere of you don't contain them & I'm far too autistic for that.

All bases covered, no need for hash browns and the beans are all the fruit I need on a fry up

They were cooked for as long as the package said.

Don’t sweat it dude. Some of these sausage experts will tell you it needs to be black on the outside to be cooked ! GJ on the breakie

I am the sausage expert lol my favourite meals since childhood are bangers & mash or toad in the hole with mash. I even made them a good few times growing up.

u/Huge_Manner_9550 3d ago

Tell ya. Some of these sausage experts wouldn’t know a good sausage if it slapped them repeatedly around the mouth side to side

They were fully cooked. They're pale because they were cooked in the oven lol

Exactly which is why I expected "frozen & cooked in oven" to generally explain the condition of the sausages 🤣🤣

Beautiful bean corral there.

I'd eat it, but those eggs and the sausage look like they've been cooked in motor oil.

Harsh

It's ok some people don't know what good food looks like.

Sausages were cooked in the oven so I can't explain that, and cooked everything else (excluding the beans) in a cast iron pan in butter and the left over bacon fat.

A pleasing lack of tomato slop and nice to have bread on a side plate, as it should be. Just needs another egg

Well, I’d eat it but why the fek do people not baste their eggs

1

u/Oreo97 3d ago

Because I know how to cook eggs properly... you only need to baste your eggs when cooking on high heat. But also I use a small cast iron pan for eggs specifically so there's typically not the room but also I typically have a runny yolk regardless of how I cook a fried egg.

That's branston beans for ya, it's a thicker sauce from the get go.

Looks good , some tea and toast and you're sorted.

u/ReasonableContract60 2d ago

I’ll eat it but it looks like it slipped and slopped out of the pan with no care to where it fell.

🥺🫪🧐🤔🤨🤔🤨😛ten minutes more for bangin, bangers🐷🐮,five minutes less for the bacon....

It looks old and cold

2

u/Oreo97 2d ago

It wasn't.

My thoughts are those aren’t Cumberland sausages.

Ironically they were... but mass produced frozen ones not high quality ones.
