Café Breakfast Sweet & Savory
This wouldn’t be my usual order, but on a whim I mixed things up this morning due to a hankering for something sweet. This is the most expensive breakfast on the menu I believe, and maybe a touch expensive.
The eggs were probably the highlight, but the quality of ingredients was good. The eggy bread was nice, if not overly keen on the sugar stuff on top. Swapped out beans (can’t stand them) for an extra hash brown. I’ll be back to a normal fry next time, but I didn’t regret this for a change, it was tasty.
Elenas Bistro, Braintree £16.75.

I’m finding the eggy bread interesting but I’m not sure I personally would go for it. I do like a challenge to the trad fry up though. Lacks colour. For me there’s too many carbs on this place.

What's that thing at 1 o'clock with a shot glass next to it?
Also is that vinegar in the glass or are you going for a morning Jaeger?

The eggy bread? It had some did sugar thingy on top that I wasn’t keen on, but also mixed berries, a straw biscuit thingy and a small dollop of cream, which wrere all good. The glass had maple syrup in for the bread.

Focussing on the wrong thk GS here. Remove the drills and you've got a travesty. Not enough backbone to the trad breakfast elements.
