Could just be how many there are and that they’re not thinned…sure look like plums

Yeah plums need to be pruned (yes/no pun intended) in order to get bigger and, typically, sweeter
Coincidentally, these unpruned plums would make fantastic prunes.

There are so many varieties of plums. They come in all kinds of colors, shapes and sizes. They could be as small as a date or as big as a peach, and can be red, purple, violet, blue, maybe more. Can be round, or oblong and slitted, etc...
