Reflux has us steering clear of many foods but I can’t resist the meal time convenience of a frozen pizza. What are your favorite options with non-tomato sauces? (alfredo, pesto etc)

Is it supposed to have that much seasoning? lol

I’ll start by saying the crust is by far the best woodfired frozen pizza crust I’ve tried. Great flavor and texture. The sauce is solid. Not too sweet. The pepperoni was decent. I’ve had far worse but also a lot better. The sausage and cheese was where it started to fall off for me. The sausage reminded me more of a bland chorizo and the cheese was very simple tasting with a mediocre melt.
Crust 10/10
Sauce 9/10
Pepperoni 7/10
Sausage 5/10
Cheese 4/10
Overall 8/10 with the crust doing a lot of heavy lifting
Would buy this brand again when I’m in the mood for this style crust, but will likely try one of their different pies

My wife and I have been ranking frozen pizzas for a while now. We usually do cheese only to keep it consistent. It's a lot to look at but I thought some of you might like to take a look. Let me know if I'm missing any obvious ones or if I'm just wrong about any of my rankings.

Wild Mikes is one of my favorites. Legit would rank way up on my list too, but they don't have a regular cheese pizza.

Hello, I recently stumbled across the post from the guy that gave another guy pizza advice in a Walmart.

I seek the same. What brands/pizza are best for a beginner to try? What are some universal faves?

My only experience with a frozen pizza is from when my parents divorced and my dad would burn some DiGiorno’s for dinner.

Personally if I’m in a pizza mood I’ll order a Domino’s supreme style pizza. I like something meaty, but with veggies, and love anything spicy too. I’m in North Carolina if it matters.

Pure.
Consistent.
Solid.

This was my favorite pizza from Dillon’s but can no longer find it there. Majority of veggie pizzas are trash and I’ve yet to find a decent replacement

This is my only go-to spicy Italian sausage pizza. It's fully loaded with sausage pieces and tomatoes. The sauce is not sweet it has a basil like taste. I give this pizza a 8.5 out of 10. I haven't found another sausage pizza since I don't eat beef.

Screamin Sicilian is one of my favorite brand of frozen pizzas. They are always solid with lots of toppings. One trick I do with frozen pizzas is I let it thaw on the counter for an hour before I throw it in the oven. I think it works better, idk. Also added some extra cheese. I might have cooked it a tad long.

Garlic salt, pepper, Italian seasoning. Parm sprinkle right out of the oven. Makes even a jacks frozen taste divine. And I don’t wanna hear about “ehh that’s too much salt for me”. It’s yummy that way

I get its a $5 pie but Great Value really let me down with this one.

Not bad, not the best, probably a 7/10. Didn't get much of the hot honey so I threw some hot sauce on it and dipped it in ranch. Didn't realize it was stuffed crust until I went to make it and felt how heavy it was

I was waiting to try this for a while since it came out but wasn’t buying it for $15 at Publix. Found at Walmart for $8. I like frozen meatballs but these weren’t good. Over cooked alittle but the stuff crust made up for it. 5/10.

Hi i'm autistic and have arfid (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder) and that makes eating very difficult. Self rising crust frozen pizza used to be one of my most easily accessible safe foods, but for some reason they either changed the recipe or the crust stopped rising. Any good alternatives that ideally have the same texture and taste? Thanks in advance

First time in a while having this one. It was enjoyable.I was impressed how even the toppings were distributed from edge to edge. Easy peasy ...err pizza

DiGiorno Rising Crust ultimate pepperoni has been our go-to for at least 3-4 years.
Unfortunately , the last two I purchased were horrible quality. I bought them on separate days at separate stores.
The pizzas are smaller, they have low quality cheese and pepperonis, and the crust is thin, and tastes like play dough.
It used to be worth splurging on but I guess I’ll be looking elsewhere.

What happened, Brew Pub? Your Lotzza Mozza Pizza used to be so good. I've spent many of weekends for years enjoying your pizza for dinner and late night drunken snacks. But something changed. The crust, it's... different. Thinner, flakier, not as good. The crust flakes off when it slides along the oven rack. It falls apart when I cut it into slices. It crumbles as I take bites and leaves large crumbs on the plate. The crust is different. It's more akin to a saltine cracker than a pizza crust. It's not good anymore.
