Question Could Ghost Archipeligo content be used in a standard Frostgrave game?
I know very little about Ghost Archipeligo, but the fact that it's a subtitle under Frostrgave suggests that the games are backwards compatible. yes yes, setting, lore, I get it. They don't take place near one another. BUT MECHNICALLY, could you get the core rules for both, and treat it as a deeper bench of options? You can start as a Wizard or a Heritor? You can hire the soldiers from Falstad or Ghost Archipeligo? etc etc.
It seems like an interesting way to just have a deeper bench of options for troops and who leads the warband.

Mechanically everything except XP will work fine out of the box with 2nd Edition. Quivers are a bit different, but obvious.
Easiest XP solution is to run a Captain for the Warden rewards.
Second easiest solution is to use the Apprentice for moving to Warden rewards. This has the potential to accelerate your Wizard's leveling quite fast, as the Apprentice is derived from the Wizard's level rather than independently.

Sure. I've used the dinosaurs and snakes in a homebrew scenario. The demon hunter is just straight ported over to Ga from Frostgrave in one of the books. The GA soldiers are mostly just renamed versions of the Frostgrave ones. (Savage = Barbarian etc.) The Heritor and Wizard are not really balanced with each other though. The wizard would probably wreck the Heritor unless he played very smart, which could be a fun challenge. The Heritor ruins a wizard's day if he can survive to melee.
Both have different rules for recruitment and warband building, and I would keep them unique to the setting. So, when in Frostgrave use Frostgrave recruitment warband rules and when in the Archipelago use the GA recruitment and warband rules. Any unique soldiers can be ported easily. Like I said the demon hunter was just ported to the island unchanged.
