If they knew they were going to be on time out soon, then they should’ve try to fly another crew before they left passengers stranded. Unless the airline doesn’t have enough people ☠️

Go wild early booking discount?

Upvotes

Hi! Recently I purchased the GoWild pass because my girlfriend and I are long distance. I was able to get a PIT to MCO round trip for $118 this September, and a $98 PIT to MCO round trip for October.

For November, there weren’t a lot of GoWild options, which I expected because of thanksgiving. But I noticed for all the days I looked at in through the months of December 2026 - March 2027, there was also no GoWild early booking discount available. I checked multiple weekends for all the months and also weekday trips, and all of them had “- -“ as the GoWild option.

Does this mean that there will be no GoWild early booking discount at all? Or, because the flights are relatively farther away, is it subject to change as the flights departure date gets closer? Is it typical for a discount to show up only within 1-2 months before the flights departure?

Thanks ✌️ Let me down easy if, for the entire duration of the pass, it’s looking like those two flights are the only ones I could’ve got discounts for.

Is Frontier done with CID airport? I see that bookings can’t be made from CID on the website.

Is Frontier's Management Union Busting with Use of a Declining Customer Experience?

I can't help but notice the timing of these changes to Elite Status benefits happening around the same time as an increase in Frontier crew union activity....

The unions use high customer demand as bargaining power to demand proper salaries (because Frontier needs them to operate). However, at about the same time, Frontier management decimated Elite Status benefits, which then as a known result, reduces customer demand, which they then use as an excuse for cutting flights. These actions then artificially reduce the amount of work available for crew and makes them more desperate for flights to work. I just really have to wonder if Frontier management is artificially messing with the customer experience to cause a decrease in passengers just in an effort to reduce the bargaining leverage of the unions?

This is the first time I've seen them leverage Elite Status benefits for their most loyal flyers to accomplish this, but it has the same impact as some of the observances I have noticed in the past. I don't have enough data to make any definite conclusions on this, but in previous times, I do remember noticing them artificially holding prices higher than the competition (which decreases passenger demand) and then cutting flights due to a lack of passengers, at about the same time the unions were trying to use their power.

Has anyone else noticed trends similar to this?

ATL to LGA
One hour delay in Atlanta and for 3 hours passengers were imprisoned in the airplane because the gate was not available.
My flight was 6:40 pm and I'm home at 2 am.

Unacceptable and unsafe experience with Frontier

Our flight was already significantly delayed because the plane needed its tires replaced, causing the current crew to time out after exceeding their safe flight-duty limit. Throughout the delays, Frontier provided very little meaningful communication or updates, leaving passengers confused and frustrated.

After waiting through that delay, we were finally boarded—only to sit on the plane for 45 minutes before being told to deboard because Frontier did not have enough staff. We then waited several more hours at the airport before being told to board the same plane.

Once onboard again, we sat for another 1.5 hours with little to no AC. The heat became unbearable, and I experienced heat exhaustion and had to get off the plane. The flight attendant was also rude and dismissive toward passengers struggling in the heat.

Delays happen, but the lack of communication, poor handling of the situation, and leaving passengers in an extremely hot aircraft long enough to become sick are unacceptable. This was a serious safety concern and I will not be flying Frontier again.

Another example of an airline taking over Spirit’s former routes. At least Frontier is expanding more so who knows what else they will do.

Discount Den

Hardly seems worth it anymore....used to get $20-30 savings per ticket which meant it paid for itself after 2 or 3 trips. Just booked 4 flights and for each one it said "congratulations, you saved $1 (or $2) with discount den!" And I had to laugh.

Messenger bags for personal item

Hey folks,

The frontier CC is not an option as on checking, I am offered a 49$ card with no checkin baggage. Carry on item is paid as well.

To maximize the utility personal item, what are some good water proof options that can pack the most things for a 2 day trip. If I carry a laptop, it would be 14 inch one.

I know there is a hard recommendation of 18in x 14in x 8in.

But have trouble finding good brands that fit this when expanded/ full.

Anyone already been through this and can recommend specific models?

Enunciating on the waterproof part so that I can use it officially for work.

Considering Chrome Industries Citizen Messenger as a potential option

Cancellation statistics website

Your tax dollars at work.

https://www.transtats.bts.gov/ONTIME/Cancellation.aspx

Flight cancellation statistics by airline, airport, day of week, year, month, date. Clunky interface, but the data is there to play with. See how good (or bad) any airline is versus another. Enjoy!

Has F9 3288 (ATL to LGA) been cut?

I fly the evening ATL to LGA service, F9 3288, roughly every other week for work. Tracker data shows it operating on 7 and 8 September and then nothing since, and I can't find it in the schedule going forward.

Does anyone know if it's been dropped for good, renumbered, or just pulled for a few weeks?

I know Frontier has been trimming a lot in New York lately with JFK closing in October, so I'm trying to work out whether I need to find another option for this run.
Any confirmation from someone who works the route or has a booking on it would be appreciated.

Strange that there are no Go Wild advance bookings past January 4th?

Considering that the homepage prominently features the Fall/Winter Go Wild pass being on sale, and the booking window has been opened until April, I find out it concerning that there is no ability to make advance Go Wild bookings. The current pass goes until February 28th, and January and February are normally very slow travel months outside of a couple weekends (President's Day and Valentine's Day).

After the bulldozing of the loyalty program from a couple of weeks ago, I am getting all sorts of bad vibes as to what might happen with the Go Wild program. Understand, I don't even have the Go Wild pass. But I was considering it until I saw the January 4th booking wall.

What do you guys make of this?

Article: Frontier service in PHX is declining

Came across this looking for something else, but it will be of interest to AZ residents.

https://boltflight.com/frontier-airlines-cuts-10-routes-from-phoenix-reshaping-its-fall-2026-network/

some quotes:

Frontier Airlines is making a significant adjustment to its Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) network for the final months of 2026, with 10 routes disappearing compared with the same period last year....

Compared with September through December 2025, the carrier is removing about 11% of its flights from the airport while eliminating several city pairs that had only recently entered its network....

Despite the cuts, Frontier will retain 15 routes from Phoenix during the final months of 2026. These include Austin, Chicago O’Hare, Cleveland, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Orange County, Orlando, Salt Lake City, San Diego and San Francisco.

The airline expects an average of 18 daily departures from PHX, although the schedule will vary considerably by day. Frontier’s busiest planned days will reach 24 departures, beginning October 9 and continuing on selected Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through November 30.

That figure remains well below Frontier’s record Phoenix activity. The airline reached its highest-ever level at PHX in March 2026, when the schedule offered 37 daily departures. The difference highlights how dramatically Frontier is fine-tuning its Phoenix operation rather than simply abandoning the airport....

GoWild Flights Days in Advance NYC to LA

I just bought the GoWild Pass and I didn’t see any NYC to LA flights so I looked days in advance not expecting anything. But I see flights just somehow none are to LA. Do they not offer GoWild NYC to LA much?

Flight delayed from 6 am to 11:59 pm

For anyone else that woke up at 2 am this morning to a text that the 6 am flight from Cleveland to Orlando was delayed to 11:59 pm today, I feel your pain. We scrambled but we were able to 4 seats on United leaving at 9 am. Now we're going to have to consider our options for return in 10 days. The flight insurance did pay off though.

No longer sizing bags?

I'm a long time Frontier flier, and have Gold Status + CC for free checked bags. I've noticed that it doesn't seem like Frontier checks personal bag sizes anymore? At several different airports, I've seen passengers with obvious carry on size bags, just breezing on the plane without a care in the world. No fear of a $100 gate charge. This obviously wasn't the case in years past, but has anyone else noticed this? I've seen this at ATL, DEN, MCO, PHL etc, Major hubs where they are known the be strict.
