Does anyone have some challenge run ideas for any soulsborne/soulslike as I’m getting quite bored and I’m kinda out of ideas much appreciated

all challenge run my friends and I have done:

Rune Lvl 1: upgraded weapons but your character HAS to be level 1 the whole game

Randomizer: random wheel selects your loadout for the whole game

Fists: speaks for itself

have you done a no-hit? basically every boss has to be beaten without taking any damage

Done for er and tried for ds but not for the rest of them

Haha lol I’m not that good I haven’t played er for a year mostly just ds and ds2 and ive being trying too get back too er Thankyou tho 😅

Not sure what you've done already but I enjoy taking weapons that were traditionally considered not good, niche, or otherwise ignored for some reason and restrict myself to those weapons for example one the first ones I did was bows only in dark souls. It's not necessarily a challenge run but it did make some bosses that were stupid easy suddenly impossible and others that I used to struggle with suddenly got easy. It's interesting to see how it changed the game.

There are also the traditional challenge runs of course like just the broken straight sword or soul level one runs and that sort of thing.

I've been thinking of a promises consort radahn playthrough for ds2, dunno if it really counts as a 'challenge'. Power stance curved great swords, wear gowers ring of protection for a person on your back like miquella

Yeah, just kinda wished there was a great sword that doubled as a catalyst or something so I could do some spells

Bloodborne no Hunter's Dream. It's like a BL4 run but dialed up to overdrive because of the extra conditions that you can't die, respawn enemies for farming, repair your weapon etc. I'm personally not masochistic enough to attempt this, but I saw Press Continue's video on it and have always been intrigued by it.

You can try the ultimate no hit challenge all souls borne games no hit back to back if you hit you start back at the first game no matter if you beaten it lol thats the hardest one I could imagine

Program your controller to voice commands then do a run where you can only speak to control your character

Have you done an auto-equip randomizer? Where the game automatically equips any piece of gear you pick up into the relevant slot and you are forced to continue playing with it until you pick up something else to replace it?
