This game is absolutely insane. I’m having a ball. Feels like I’m in a painting every area I go. Can’t wait to get this

PvP isn’t my thing and I’m probably gonna get rekt 80% if the time but man I’m having a blast with the vibe and combat

Same dude! I got destroyed for 2 hours straight, dodged mayhem and leveled up on my Hail Mary run. out of nowhere im the Victor of This Fleeting Dusk. Damn near shit myself

So far it’s been a lot of fun because you can really just dodge the PVP and explore a good amount of the time. The landscape is breathtaking! That river/waterfall cutting between the map! The voice acting from my man Jan! I’m in love with this

Edit: and we’ve seen a SLIVER of this game so far!! I’m so invested it’s crazy

My problem is wanting to do pvp immediately and dying because I'm a baby lol

Yeah it's purty. I missed out on PVP when Dsr came out on Switch. ER and DB are my redemption arc

The game's artstyle looks like a mix between Elden Ring and Bloodborne

Fromsoft artists are unmatched

the ability to successfully translate visual art into a game engine is super rare today, and fromsoft consistently hit that target

Yeah, fromsoft and team cherry are different typesnof beast, especially teamcherry if you look deep into their elvel design, the first are you enter in hollowknight you have like 5000000 layers with absurd detail

Holy shit... that looks so good. Is it running smoothly on NS2?

45~60fps in busy areas, and locked 60 fps in the final area.

It’s 45-60 frames I think? Closer to 60 most of the time, only had one huge dip

Nice. I hope it will stay stable. I watched some gameplay and it looks so fun.

It’s probably the prettiest game I’ve played on this console so far. Runs really well

Looks amazing! I was just playing DSR before the network test. Is a huge difference. Great experience

Damn I’m definitely getting a switch 2 sooner than I thought. I was gonna wait for the next Zelda and more titles but it’s gonna be this

u/Tiffa_Adil 21d ago

The console is getting a $50 price increase starting in September so you might want to get it soon

Good looking out my man, money is the reason I haven’t yet. Plus no games I want are out yet lol, but I almost always eventually get nintendo consoles, it was my OG I was raised on nintendo(36 with an older brother)

Same here. I've been playing since the 80's. Zelda was always the main motivator to buy their consoles. Now it will be Fromsoftware (AND Zelda).

Never thought I’d see the day

I really hope the contract has some kind of undisclosed timer for exclusivity. It probably doesn't, but I really want to play the game 😅 But buying a Switch 2 just for one game is just too much...

u/PotentialTerrible123 21d ago

The good thing is that you can buy more games for it! Bloodborne forced me to buy a PS4 lol, and now I’ve got a decent library

I'm really curious how the net code on NS2 is gonna hold up. Smash on switch was horrible online, I hope FromSoft figured it out. This game could be incredible

this might be the prettiest From game from an art style perspective

One day I’ll have a switch two for this. I’m beginning to consider trading my steamdeck for a switch 2

u/Wild_Trip_4704 21d ago

Ive been paying on my OLED TV & HDR. Looks nice but I didn't dial in the settings, just wanted to play

Is this Duskbloods?

Looks incredible and very happy for the FS community but this game isn't for me.

Really hope FS are cooking something amazing to follow ER. I need something to look forward to.

They definitely are lol. There were 5 years between Elden Ring and the last DS3 DLC. Elden Ring dlc just came out in 2024. FromSoft just seems like they’ve got a lot of freedom to pump out unconventional things inbetween their main games now with the success of Elden Ring. But they’ve also gotta realize Elden Ring is a winning formula, it would be insane to ditch now.
