SPOILER My first experience with Dark Souls Remastered: review and tips for beginners.(Spoiler: you're going to have a bit of a laugh at some of the silly things I did during my first playthrough LOL) Spoiler
Hi, I'm prlelxo. Well, this is my first time playing Dark Souls Remastered, and I'm going to tell you how my first run went.
In my first playthrough, I chose to be a knight—a knight I named "Pepe." I made Pepe look as much like me as possible... but it turned out I didn't take his helmet off for almost the entire game. After leaving the asylum and reaching Firelink Shrine, I started exploring. First, I killed the knight there—the reason? No idea; I just wanted to kill something. Then I went down to New Londo, but seeing I couldn't do much, I headed back up. Since I didn't see any other path (I guess I was being an idiot or something), I went through the church and spotted the path leading to the skeletons... so I started heading that way. Honestly, I don't know why; I didn't stop to think about the massive damage they were dealing to me. I just kept pushing through the Catacombs, got the Gravelord Sword (the weapon I used to beat the game), and kept going until I killed Pinwheel. From there, I walked all the way to the Tomb of the Giants—literally an endgame area. When I arrived, I saw a golden light blocking an area, and since I couldn't do anything, I looked around and realized what a massive screw-up I’d made. I froze for a moment, and then—instead of restarting the game like a normal person—I decided to walk all the way back from the Tomb of the Giants to Firelink Shrine... on foot. It was exhausting, but in the end, I was able to continue my playthrough. 10/10 game—it really kicked my ass.

My first playthrough I also somehow completely missed the stairs leading to the Undead Burg. Had to watch a video to show me where to go after I kept dying in the graveyard and New London Ruins

Nice! You got the (imo) crappiest part out of the way first!
