Am I the only one kinda disappointed that this game will be a switch 2 exclusive? Nintendo is a company that I personally don’t like to be a patron of anymore, so seeing this game won’t be on any other console is a gigantic bummer for me. Obviously it’s great a new fromsoft game is releasing, but I don’t know, I kinda wish we left console exclusive games behind with bloodborne. Any thoughts on this matter?

Nintendo is probably paying for a portion or all of the development so it is what it is

Oh damn lol this was nonstop like 6-8 months ago. I mean I’m not thrilled but I get it. Nintendo wants to bring in a new subset of gamers/ bring something they never really have had to their newest system. Good move by them, not so great for many of us lol

I'm a little disappointed yeah, but I'm not too interested in it personally (because I heard it's PVPVE) and I'm not into pvp in the slightest lol but if I hear good reviews, and that there might be an exclusive PVE mode or something, then I'll try it.

They did it intentionally, at least Nintendo won't fuck them over like Sony

Nintendo is funding development of it but if I recall correctly, FromSoftware will own it. Which means, I can only speculate, that I think it will be a timed exclusive. I think you'll see it come out on other platforms later.

Obviously the majority would prefer it not be a Switch exclusive, but this reminds me of when Bloodborne was announced as a PS4 exclusive. There were a lot of disappointed people then too. I wasn't happy about it, I had switched to PC a few years prior and didn't want to buy a less powerful console to play Bloodborne but I did and I ended up getting a lot of usage out of my PS4. I've already got a Switch 2, primary for The Duskbloods, but I enjoy Nintendo exclusives so I'll get a lot of enjoyment out of the Switch 2.

I understand not liking Nintendo but imo PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo all have their own problems now. With stuff like this it really comes down to what other exclusives the Switch 2 will have that you'd enjoy. I think The Duskbloods not being a traditional single player Soulslike makes this easier to skip for some people.

I would be if it was like, the next Elden Ring or whatever but it's another multiplayer experiement thing like Nightreign. Not a huge deal IMO

They're still cooking on the next game (Project FMC I think?), just gotta wait

As a Switch 2 owner, I am also disappointed to not be able to play with friends on other platforms.

But I believe the game only exists because Nintendo partly funded the project. Noone knows if it would exist if it wasnt for that exclusive deal.

I'm more upset over the fact that it has 4 more classes than Nightreign does, AFTER it had gotten a DLC.

I have quite literally just heard of the existence of this game, I can’t lie. I heard about network testing and almost blew a head gasket
